My gf has a Nokia 6500 which she got free on a 12 month contract with all line rental back by cashback through e2save.

Her contract is up middle of March...

Is she likely to be able to get another 12 month contract with O2 or will they not let her have one and try to force her to get an 18 month contract....

I funkin hate 18 month contracts, who wants to be tied in for that long.... and !!!!!! are 24 month contracts all about?!!??!

I'm guessing as we come towards the end of the quarter, O2 will have some decent offers on e2save etc as they try to improve sales figures before publishing.
all the 12 month ones come with awful phones. the deals they are giving with 18 month contact are well worth it i think... see above for what i got

ask for your PUK code. did you spend over your bill last time ?
i have gone over my bill most months i was discounted first 12 months last contract then when it went up i reduced tarriff but then was always going over so went up again so was maybe over by £5-£10 some months
  • Thanks to all for the postings here, they really help when it comes to negotiating a deal.

I immediately asked for, and was given, the Blackberry Bold offer from retentions: 600 mins, 1000 texts, unlimited blackberry/internet data and paid £49 for the handset.

Seems Blackberry are seriously targeting the renewals market to get iPhone business if o2 can offer this for £20 pm 18 months.

BTW the phone arrived and it is really, really nice. The iTunes (Mediasync) download from Blackberry is pretty cool. I had been toying with the idea of an iPhone but this is far better value and suits my business / travel entertainment well too.

If you go through retentions you should be able to get a C902 level phone or slightly higher on a 12 month deal.
  • getting offered 600 mins

    web bolt on
    samsung pixon
    £30pm

no chance im going fot that and he wont budge

im so not impressed he was telling me he would do it for £25 if i bought an accessory such as a bluetooth headset for £68

How much are you using a month? They've offered me the same deal for £24.50 a month, without having to buy any accesories, but I have been with them since the year dot.
