Hi there it shouldn;t be too hard! I was same 20 a month from around september.. I phoned them last week and said I want to cancel. They offered me a choice of c905, samsung pixon or n95 for 25 pounds per month with same deal 600 mins unlimited texts etc! So you should be able to get it for 25 ppm! Just quote my deal if they don't offer it and i got them to add 200 extra minutes. You may even be able to get it down more but they said no to me as i've only been with them for afew month ands sim only. also its an 18month contract.. only bad thing.

Just to update just managed my 3rd consecutive year totally free 12 months contract with O2 CPW retentions

Sim only 75 mins 150 txt a month
£25 month @ 12 months
£300 credited to account so no chequebacks for me :money:

Having said that was kinda tempted by the Iphone 3G but figured might as well go with a new contract then grab the Quidco as well

i think im not really getting the hang of this negotiating lark.
at the moment am on a £30 contract wiht £15 discount (this is more mins and texts tahn i need)
am after the c702 for £15 (not fussed if i have to take less inclusive mins) but they are saying i can only have that phone for free on aa £35 contract with £15 discount (which is more mins than i need). yet o2s website says the c702 is free wiht all tarrifs.
so is it just that the discount can now only be aplied to a £35 tarrif this year and i was lucky last year?

I was on a £35 (£25 after cashback) a month 500 minute 500 text 12 month tariff, only ever used 300 of each roughly, but the main thing I wanted was the free internet and a new phone on the cheap

Yeah, keep trying. I tried 4 times, then gave in and accepted a poor sim-only deal.

But now after searching, I just found a great cashback deal 200 mins/200 texts with a T303i, works out to be £6.67 on e2save.
