I realise this isnt the correct place to as, but i didnt want to create a new thread for a simple question.
When i upgrade my contract, i believe i get sent a new sim, right? And i get to keep my current phone ...
my question is, can i swap the sim over? for example, i will be getting a blackberry bold, but i currently have my Sony W880i, which i absolutely adore. Is there any reason why i cannot decide to put the sim in my blackberry one day and then have it in the Sony the next?
Also, if i have blackberry unlimited, will this then let me have free internet browsing on my W880i when the sim is in that phone?
Thanks :0)0 -

yep exept i need a new phone and it is only the c702 that seems to be fiittting the bill (unless anybody knows of any other ruggedised phones out there). also if possible i'd, like to stay with o2 as i have been with them for about 11 yrs now .saving for more holidays0

Hi all
Very interesting thread. I'm just about to change my phone and contract so I was shopping around but can't find the perfect deal. After reading this threat I'm thinking of ringing O2 and trying out my negotiating skills a bit but would appreciate an advice - maybe it's pointless, what do you think:
I'm currently on O2 pay & go (have been with them for the last 2.5 years) and I have O2 broadband (the biggest package). The phone and contract I'm after is from a different website, not O2 and it is £30 p/m on 24 months contract (600min + unlim texts). Similar deal is offered by Orange for £25 p/m (a bit less minutes which I'm not worried at all and free Orange 2 Orange calls). What I'm after is actually not minutes but unlimited internet bundle (£7.50 p/m on O2). Do you think if I phone them up they might offer me some sort of a discount on the bundle or maybe switch around my contract slightly (reduce minutes/texts?) in order to give me the unlimited internet for free? If yes, how should I best approach the issue - saying that I might go to Orange as they are cheaper or offering to give up minutes & texts straight away?0 -
I've just got off the phone and was offered this
1200 minutes
1000 texts
1 bolt on
Free weekend calls
2 months free home internet
Free Sony C905
£37 a month from £45
When I told her my 'friend' got £27 a month for the same deal, she said she either didn't take a phone or misunderstood as it's £27 plus VAT.Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0
