I've posted a thread about prices coming down tmorrow, I'll try find it

    Hi everyone

Just to let you all know that o2's pay monthly sale starts tomorrow and lasts until 31 January.

3 of the latest phones are being changed from free on £75 tariffs only to free on £35 tariffs. These handsets are:

    LG Renoir
    Samsung Pixon
    Sony Ericsson C905

Some other phones are also free on all tariffs instead of only being free on £45 tariffs.

    HTH some of you!

Any word on the iPhone? ;)
  • I've just been offered a Nokia 6600 slide (or £150 credit) with:

    600 any net minutes
    1000 texts
    free 02 to 02 calls
    18 month contract

    £15 a month

I was on Simplicity at £15.

Good deal I think and happy with it.

Now just waiting for an iphone offer for my other contract!

    No

iPhone has come down quite a lot recently with the refurb offers so doubt it will again.

Also, just to mention that o2 are pretty good with existing customers and moving them to the best deal. So for example, when they decreased the cost of one of the Simplicity tariffs, all existing customers who were on the higher one also got moved down (and similarly for mobile broadband).

So if you take out an iphone now, and the tariffs then go down, (which is only likely by a fiver at the very most!) then you will get moved down automatically anyway.

Hi all. I am on an £20 a month contract (50 mins & 200 texts), 18 months which is due to finish in Feb.

I am thinking of going on the £10 a month simplicity. Not too bothered about keeping the same phone (Sony Ericsson K810i) as I quite like it.

I notice someone mentioned that 12 month contracts are back in, but can't see it on the website, is it just the high street only?

Will stay with O2 if they can offer me a good deal when I phone up nearer the time. What do you all suggest I do? I am mainly a texter and don't usually use more than my monthly allowance. I have only ever once used more than 200 texts.

The 12m contracts are retail stores only and you have to be on an existing 12m contract and you have to stay on that tariff in order to keep it. So basically you're doing a handset only upgrade. You cannot go from SIMO or 18m to a 12m anymore.
