I don't use my full minutes or texts now so have no intention of going higher on the monthly fee.
I would like an i phone or another phone which don't seem to appear on their 'free' with contract list.
Any suggestions to get what I want without upping everything?
You won't get an iphone or similarly priced handset for free when you're bpaying less than £35 pcm on you line rental. If you want a free phone you'll have to set your sights a little lower, how about the Sony Ericsson C902?0 -

the contract is in my name but my daughter uses the phone- I just pay!! Hmm, don't know the Sony Ericsson C902 but my daughter mentioned the LG Renoir? Am I likley to get that for free if I go to eighteen month contract?0 -

The LG Renoir is a £100 when taking out a 18 month contract on a £35 tariff so you would be lucky to get that for free. You would probably be able to get it for £50 if you went on to an 18 month contract and up'd you tariff to £35, but to be honest I think you need to lower your price range. Look on o2.co.uk, you should be looking @ phones in the region of £150, I would think you would have a good chance of getting them for free.
Someone is probably going to reply now telling you that you can get the LG Renoir for free on your current tariff (how much are you paying btw?) but you would have to push pretty hard and get someone really nice to get a £250 phone for free on a 12 month contract paying less that £30 pcm!0 -

I do exactly the same for my son. He uses the phone and I just pay
His old contract was £30 per month for 400 Mins/1000 texts
New contract agreed last week £20 per month for 600 mins/1000 texts/unlimited internet browsing and a free Nokia N95 8GB phone.
I though that was a pretty good deal! :T0 -

Blimey that is a good deal! would you mind telling me what sort of things you asked for and how to bargain to get that please? Also what deal were you on before?0 -
i'd assume 18.
My recon iphone came today which I'm going to send back, its in immaculate condition not a single scratch or even fingerprint on it, looks completely new.0 -
bloody hell, this phone is so good i think im going to keep it even for £620 for the contract!!!0

The 6600 looks nice Dave, let me know if it's any good if you can...
My only gripe with it is that when you slide it closed it doesn't automatically close what you're doing or lock the phone, whereas my old Samsung did. You can put auto lock on for 30 seconds or something like that, but to me it makes sense that when I close the phone I've finished with it and am putting it away. When you slide it closed you can just press the centre button to lock it, and it's a minor inconveience which I'm getting used to, but it just seems like an obvious usability point to me.
Overall though I'm more than happy with the phone and the excellent deal I go from o2!0 -
