Tocco's battery isnt great either, it put me off buying one. The Omnia is far better, but o2 wont sell that one
nice touch getting the leather case free though. Would be more tempted by the Tocco myself.

Is there a problem with all touchscreen phone batteries or something? Who is doing the Omnia? will go and look at the offers on it. Tempted to go with the Tocco myself I'll ring them back later and do my best to get them down to £25 (nice round number)0

The Omnia is done by Vodaphone or Orange, but you'd probably have to pay for the handset and pay £30 plus additional cost for web browsing.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Morning
Just thought I'd pass this one on, first time post, so please be gentle with me, lol
Just about to do my contract renewal on O2 and the new phone I wanted to get was the Sony Ericsson C905, an 8mp camera phone that has just been released.
I found out the other day that I would have to pay £99 for the phone as part of the renewal on my current contract, however on the carphone warehouse site it was offering my contract with the same handset FOR FREE.
I rang O2 and was put through to the retentions dept, where I was told I could not have the handset for free but they would knock 20% off my bill every month (which over the contract length pays for the price of the phone and a months free line rental). Then to sweeten the deal I was offered 1000 text messages and free WAP internet for the duration of my contract.
Haggle, if you dont like the price of something and see it for free anywhere else, call them, they might make you a better offer.
Handset should be here next week

Just spoke to retentions and they said that there are certain handsets that they are currently unable to offer discounts on. These include the N96 and C905 which means all you're likely to get if you want these phones is the standard rates for new customers. The guy did say that they will eventually be able to give discounts on both phone and line rental but it might be in a couple of weeks time.0

How much does it work out that you are paying for line rental? x0

took the deal yesterday
C905 for £49.99 & £27 a month 1200mins and 1000texts with bolt on for data/internet free.
As Happy as i can be with that deal dont think there was a better one to be had..
once i get the phone just going to sell it tho.. really wanted a iphone but sure to get over £300 on the bay for the 905 and then envirofone are give me (hopfully) £100.70 for my old n95
best of luck people in your hunt for a good deal!0 -

Just spoke to retentions and was offered the following:
1200 minutes and unlimited texts for £27 a month
Free LG secret
or
LG renoir for £49.99
Could have the tocco for free but its out of stock - typical!!
Said I'd think about it and call them back, will try and push them for free internet use. Has anybody experienced either the secret or the renoir???0 -
There are loads of Youtube videos reviewing the LG Renoir KC910. I'm really impressed with the features, especially the handwriting recognition that works perfect when texting etc. Wouldn't be happy paying for it though, if I was offered 600 mins, 1000 texts, unlimited internet and the Renoir for £27 I'd be happy but I won't be calling retentions until the 21st.0
