  • Been offered C902 with 600 minutes, 1000 texts and unlimited texts for £20.

Been waiting for the C905 but it's been put back another week... But should be able to get it 600 minutes, 1000 texts and unlimited texts for £24.50 if I can wait....

Also iphone with 1000 texts, 1200 minutes and unlimited data for £31.50, he was really pushing that as he said not many people can get a discount. But once I'd added insurance and unlimited texts it's £46.50 which is more than I want to pay.

The Xperia X1 is now available on Vodafone, FREE phone £40 for 900xnet mins, unlimited texts and unlimited 500MB web browsing + £90 Quidco makes it a pretty good deal. I'm not hanging around anymore to see what o2 can offer, I know they can't get close to that deal.

I phoned Carphone Warehouse last Friday (this was the 5th call I made) and managed to get the Sony X1 for free with 600 minutes, 1000 txts and unlimited web for £30 a month. Admittedly it was a 24 month contract but can drop the tariff from month 9 to £25, then to £20 but still keep the unlimited browsing. There are deals to be had, just persevere

Just rang O2 retentions for C905 only to be told that the phone is out of stock and they have never had it in in the 1st place?? even though it says in stock on website.

Has anyone else been told this who has been trying to get the C905?

Told them I had a deal with M2YD, 12mths free after cashback. 600mins/500 texts and a free phone. Oh, and £45 through quidco.

They said they'll do the same tariff, sim only, no upgrade phone for £30pm with £125 cashback.

    Ummmmmmmmmmm, no thanks!

5 phone calls and nearly 2 1/2 hours on the phone to get this deal, they tried fobbing me off with a Tocco at the same cost to start with (18 month contract) I believe it was the Warrington office I got through to. Well worth the effort though:j

Emailed o2 last night and informed them I wanted to leave, as Vodaphone are doing the Omnia for free, 12month contract with 200 xnet mins and 500 texts (enough for my use!) for £35 per month plus can get £150 back through Quidco. We shall see what they reply with, or if they've lost a customer?!
Still no reply when they promise to reply within 24hrs  they have about 2/3hrs...

Still no luck on the C905, they really seem to not want you to upgrade at the moment - anyway have been told I will be sent a text when it comes back in stock so they can work out a deal for me.

Other than that they tried offering me Simplicity without any of my loyalty discount which seems a bit funny...

At least they didn't mention the dreaded iPhone word!!
