Wifi calling on RWG/NOW

No i havent created an account with Now. Im holding off incase that changes anything, although by all accounts it hasn't for other people.

RWG did say that they were hoping to have an app. When I looked in there splurge the other day it actually still says 'coming soon'. It said coming soon for wifi calling which eventually we got. So theres hope.

I can still login to my RWG account fine. It only shows the £5 credit i applied to purchase my 2 sims and 2 £5 credits ive topped up since.

I do go over my 50 mins of calls (more recent as i did away with the land line, which was costing £11 a month) and my 250 data allowance. So im happy to just whittle down the credit i have between now and the 5 years.

Even if they did do away with the really good deal we have, after 5 years. If they offer a low tariff which works, thats competitive with other low tariff providers, surely its worth sticking with them. It's all about saving money which to be honest right now i need to do.

Im on the 100 100 750mb free bundle,it expires feb 2027.

Now NOW have got wifi calling and full access to all the EE bands,im going for the 100 100 1GB bundle £2 50 a month,if indeed my free bundle really does expire.

Having just read on another site that some people are getting a response when texting 669, thought id just try texting for the bundle allowance. Have been getting nothing but tonight I got 'Invalid Keyword' reply.

I'm on the £5 'for life' 50/50/250 bundle and also noticed that sending the "info ukrwg0" message had not been working for weeks. Tonight I sent the usual SMS and back came the reply:

"You have 50 minutes, 50 texts, 0.50 GB of your RWG UK FREE £5 bundle remaining."

So the info text is back up and running for me but should of course say "250MB".

Strange.

I've also just checked my spare phone with a second rwg SIM on the same deal. The ukinfo SMS worked on 18th March giving the expected 250MB data allowance. However today this one says:

"You have 50 minutes, 50 texts, 0.49 GB of your RWG UK FREE £5 bundle remaining."

Is there something they're not telling us?

It didn't work twice on Tuesday, but I tried now

I've got 50, 50, 0.40 GB. This causes me to suspect a date reset as well, as my phone meter reckons 2.65 MB used and 27 days left. I could have set it one day out but not several, and haven't used 100 MB in just 3 days

info ukrwg1 now working for me (both over WiFi and 4G), but I note it's now coming back as a "Text" rather than a pop-up that I previously had to save! but interestingly I seem to have twice the amount of data atm, whoopee.
*669# still giving me "invalid MMI code".

Info ukrwg1 works for me also.

On the NOW app i have 601mb 92 mins,and 96 texts left which is correct.. the text message says i have 94 mins 100 texts and 1.24 GB left.

This is getting weird now.

I wonder if you can order bundles by text again now?

I've got £30 credit on an RWG SIM (mistake). Been there for years and will take me until 2040 to use it up.

Am I right that I can't do SMS donations to charity? Can't send to short codes?

ReChecked this morning. infoukrwg0 which is what I've always used returns the term 'Invalid Keyword'. info ukrwg0 returns the allowance.

.50 on the data for the one sim. My other sim is .31 on data. I have used some data. Made a phone call might have been on WiFi calling but minutes haven't been deducted.
