Can someone explain to me about the new WiFi calling.

Is it your mobile's own data that's being used instead of the mobile's calls allowance?

Or is it any WiFi that's available elsewhere.

The cost of the call comes out of your mobile call allowance (or free minutes), it's just the mechanism of connecting you to the mobile network that's different.

Any W-fi will do.

My free bundle renewed today.

Full itemised billing on the NOW app. Order bundles or bolt ons on app.

I dont think the order by text will work now, the app is so easy to use.

1 downside it says on app my free bundle expires febuary 27.

But £2.50 a month to keep it is no biggie

Yes im confused too on the £2.50.

I'm on the free 50/50/250 and I just top up £5.00 when the £5.00 credit expires. What was the £2.50 tariff.

As for the Feb 27 expiry, that's the date someone else said last year that they'd been given by someone in customer service when rwg were going through there bad patch.

So maybe in 11 months they will scrap the 50/50/250 & the 100/100/750 bundles.

Have you got the Now app to log in to see if you've got the same date for ending the free bundle?

I have tried to sign up giving email address and the number I have from RWG (NOW SIM) - I get a verification email code but I am not receiving the additional verification code by text.

Same here….my partner and I have 4 RWG SIMs between us. I've tried all 4. With 2 of them I get a SMS but no email, with the other 2 I get an email but no SMS! Frustrating. Will try contacting them by chat tomorrow probably.

Those who were confused about the £2.50 cost, on Now's website that is the cost of the nearest equivalent PAYG package to the 100/100/750 RWG package. The Now package has 1GB data instead of 750MB on the RWG package.

Thanks @dex6112 , the payg that Now offer is 2.50 a month though, which is the cheapest they offer and still a great deal at £30 for the year. But its not payg in my mind. 1p mobile is also very similar if my maths is correct at 3 top ups every 120 days. I know rwg deal wasn't strictly payg. Ive only paid £5.00 twice on each of my 2 sims in the 4 years ive been with rwg. Granted it was a great deal for a low user like me. So my phone bill has averaged out at about £2.50 a year on each sim.

I called 669, got through to a rep - only 1 minute wait. I signed up, got the email code, and then he gave me the text code - and viola !

I am on the Teaser Plus £3.50/month with RWG. The app shows it as 3000 minutes (RWG say unlimited) and 2GB per month - I'm not quite sure the app is accurately showing the data available (nearly the full 2GB, as I know it resets at start of next month, and pretty confident I have used over 1gB so far this month.
