Not getting notifications on bookmarked threads

Not resolved for me either (apart from MSE_Stephen's post - is it because he's a moderator I wonder?).

I'm also wondering whether nobody on the forum is receiving notification problems, or just some of us?

Thanks, but still not working for me. I will keep my eye on the bell and will report if things go back to the usual pace.

I had 3 notifications this morning and was hopeful that meant things had got back to normal….. but they were all for quotes/mentions. So still not fixed.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for continuing to report notification issues. We’re looking into this with our forum provider, but they need some more specific examples before they can investigate properly.

Could anyone affected please reply with (or email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com if you don't want to give specifics here):

1. Your forum username
2. One to three specific bookmarked threads where you expected to receive a notification but did not
3. If possible, the specific comment or update you expected to be notified about
4. Confirmation that your notification settings are switched on for the relevant type of notification

@MSE_Stephen , I've just tried to provide info as requested, but got a message saying "Body is 5284 characters too long" (presumably because of the links to the threads?). I don't know how to get round this (I've struggled with quotes ever since last update), but the info without linked threads is:

My username is 1spiral, I have not received notifications for bookmarked threads since 21st May.

I receive notifications if I'm quoted or as others have mentioned, from @MSE_Stephen in this thread.

The only categories not checked under notifications are:

Notify me of new threads and notify me of new replies under categories and send me the email digest under email digest. All other notification settings are checked.

Some of the threads for which I should have received notifications are:

The new top easy access discussion area

Cash Isa's: the best currently available list

Notice accounts

The above 3 threads have all had posts since 21st May for which I have not received notifications.
