I’m so sorry to hear that @bubbs - what is the plan for him? My BIL was doing okay having immunotherapy for lung cancer but has had to pause as had polyps on his gallbladder. Poor guy can’t catch a break 😢

Confession time - both adult children stayed out last night and I’d forgotten to defrost the chicken - don’t like doing it in the MW. So DH and I had fish n chips. Was very nice but I’m feeling guilty this morning. I have booked to meet the PT on 31 March - she’s currently away - so that’s a step forward for my wellness and will hopefully get me moving more.

I need food shopping so will go today in the new car - will leave it until later I think.

    Food today:

    B - banana, pain au choc - free, 10

L - picky plate - toasted protein bagel, crab sticks, ham, tomato, 2 satsumas, apple - fibre, P, S

    D - sticky chicken, rice, pak Choi - 1, free, S

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 11

So I hear we are being encouraged to stick with 10 swips and not 15 to protect our weight loss. Anyone’s thoughts on this?

    Afternoon all 😁

Well i had a gain 1.5 dunno why, buy hey ho bang on target now.

Beanie she does not say this to us at group, i rarely use many anyway, they are there to be used if you need them and if it works for you use them!

Coxy sorry to hear about your BIL, life is not fair to some people 😢

The plan at the moment is up in the air as it is a very rare cancer and only 7 other known cases in the UK. They have told him he will have to go to Stoke Mandeville for surgery 😢 all his bloods and other samples get sent to Coventry.

The surgeon has rang this morning and needs to see him on Monday. The tumour has grown 1cm in 2 weeks 😢

That's my other BIL who passed away, my Dad, My hubby and now him , f**k cancer 😡

That's devastating news about your BIL @bubbs , certainly puts your small gain into perspective. 🤗

I suppose trying to stay with 10 swips is safer @beanielou .I almost always use my full 105 which is probably why I'm always hovering at the top end of target range. 🤔🤣

Great loss for you @joedenise .Who cares if some of it was water. 👍

Stayed on plan yesterday and today is looking good. I've had a fry up for breakfast, prawn JP for lunch and fake KFC planned for dinner. We won another match today so swips from Crunchie, LTL mayo and celebratory wine tonight. 🥂 You can see why 10 swips wouldn't suit me @beanielou .😁

    That’s terrible @bubbs 😢 I agree with your sentiment x

I’ve had a good day and looking forward to the sticky chicken tonight. It’s currently marinading.

I know it does when you put things in perspective 😢 i googled it earlier, the hospital is 1 1/2 hrs away , so that would be on a good days traffic on the biggest car park around here the M1 🙄

Well done on your winning again Maman , thank Crunchie it's Saturday 👏

Aw Bubbs sorry to read about your BIL and yours @Coxy11 🥰

    Happy holidays @Glad

I had a STS at WI. Hopefully it will catch up next week.

To give you a laugh, my dad (aged 91) a very gifted landscape gardener in younger years, has finally admitted his garden is too much and will change borders to pebbled areas to lessen the load. He ordered what he thought he needed and FOUR tonne bags arrived this morning 🙈 of course my mother said I should’nt have left it to him 🙄 the company have been brilliant and will uplift three on Monday but I’ve a feeling I’ll be peddling pebbles for a while! Needless to say wine syns will be consumed tonight 🤣🤣
