Glad you got some help @bubbs and it wasn’t a complete waste of time x

Well done to your team @maman the less said about mine the better 😱

I had a good day at The Stitching Show. First time I’d been to that venue (Design Centre Islington) and got a few bits. Annoyingly I lost my return train ticket so had to buy another - £25!! Dinner at the pub was sizzling chicken and king prawns. Very tasty and could only eat half so DH helped me out 😇

Working tomorrow but from home as loony ex-boss is in the office. Was going to front it out but CBA’d!!

Morning all, not as nice today but at least it's still dry with no rain forecast. Have done another machine load of washing and it's out on the line. Not much of a breeze so probably take quite a while to dry.

I weighed this morning, which I was dreading after 2 slices of cake this week!, and pleased to say I lost nearly 2.5lb - at least half of this was probably fluid after flying home from Agadir last week but still a good loss.

Glad the physio was helpful @bubbs. Our surgery is a bit like yours we have to apply online for an appointment and it gets allocated to whichever medical person they think is best placed to deal with your problem - more often than not it's a nurse or physio or even a pharmacist! Last time I needed an appointment I actually got to see a GP as I needed a referral for my thumb and the GP is the only one who can do it! It's the only time I've seen a doctor since we've been at this surgery (nearly 3 years now).

Didn't know The Stitching Show was on @Coxy11. I went a few years ago with my friend - think it was the first year they'd held it at the Design Centre. I didn't actually manage to buy the fabric I wanted (and still haven't!) as haven't been able to find the colour I wanted. What I did buy there were some Diamond Painting kits and have done quite a few since then. I've got a large one I've finished which I'd like to get framed and hang on the wall in the living room but frames are just so expensive so I've been looking in charity shops to see if I can find a picture/painting in a frame the right size but no luck yet! Will keep looking.

Sorry you had to buy a return ticket after losing your original one - that is really frustrating - and expensive. Not cheap getting to London from this neck of the woods is it? It's often cheaper for people in the North to get returns to London cheaper than we can!

Batch cooking under way! Scotch broth in the SC - think there will probably be 6 portions for lunches. I'm just having a coffee and then I'll make a start on the goat curry which should I hope make 6 portions - 2 for dinner tomorrow night and 4 portions (2 meals) for the freezer. I portioned up the butternut squash and chickpea curry and have 4 portions of that in the freezer too. Should help out with menu planning over the next couple of months!

    Today's plan:

    B - Welsh rarebit, pickles - Fibre, Calcium, P; F
    L - Fajita pasta - P; S; F; 4.5
    D - HM faggots, mash, veg - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk; cheese
    Fibre - bread
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 4.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Afternoon all,

    Great loss @joedenise 🎉

Sunshine is still here so I’ve washed everything that can be washed and it’s all dried beautifully on the line. I love getting into a fresh bed.

I did the food shop with the parents and aunt and a comment was made that I need a bigger car. I retorted without thinking and got a row for being cheeky from my mum 🤣 61 years of age and still being told off 🤣🤣

Food wise I had yoghurt and fruit for breakfast, bacon roll for lunch and it’s gammon steak, new potatoes and veg for dinner.

    Hi all,

Woke up with a muzzy head so didn't manage to get on first thing. Was grey but glad it brightened up and we had a nice day didn't we @joedenise ! Hope your washing dried. Well done on that loss - that's amazing x

Yes annoying about the train ticket but possibly fell out of my bag when I got my purse out as it was in an envelope. Luckily I'd got it in the January sale - return for £9.90 so only out of pocket by that amount really. Guess better than losing my purse or phone!

    Food today:

B - banana, toasted protein thin, poached egg - free, Fibre, P

    L - JP, tuna, mayo, pickles - 3, S

    D - sticky chicken, rice, pak choi - 1, free, S

    Calcium - milk

SWIPs - 4 plus skinny bar so 7.5 total

Food shopping tomorrow….on my own. @Jellybaby that made me laugh about your Mum 😂

    Evening all 😁

Well done Denise 👏👏 said i bet you'd have fluid.

Was real foggy here this morning and the sun did not burn it off as it didn't come out to play, quite nippy actually. Was only 8 degrees at about 11 when i had to nip to the unit.

When i went doctors in shutdown, i saw a doctor then dunno if it was because was something different. But the physio bloke yesterday said Codeine, the doctor has messaged to say he has sent my prescription to Boots of co-codamol, so Christ knows!

Had a handwritten brown envelope come in the post, really lovely writing looked really official, i thought hmmm wonder what this is, was breast screening, never had that come like that and it is in the garden centre car park! Had bowel screening a couple of weeks ago and the results for that this week, so really having a MOT 🤣

Coxy what a bummer losing your ticket 😢

    Jelly getting told off 🤣🤣🤣
