Afternoon all, what a beautiful day and looks like there is sunshine for everyone which is brilliant. DH decided we needed to go to the garden centre first thing this morning and as it's my birthday month I had a voucher for 2 hot drinks and 2 pieces of cake rather than just the hot drinks so more cake eaten! I shall be very surprised if I manage to lose anything this week!
Are you actually eating in the office now @Coxy11 or is that eating before you go? I don't understand your colleagues either if they're only size 8-10! Having said that lots of people think I'm smaller than I am! Friends can't believe I'm a size 12 and think I look slim enough to be a 10!
Today's plan:
B - pepper, onion and mushroom omelette - P; S
L - chicken fajitas - Fibre; P; S; 3
D - beef stew, mash - P; S; FCalcium - milk
Fibre - SW wrap
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 3; cake? (probably about 25!)Have a good day everyone.

@beanielou,that is fantastic, well done.
I have been at SW for 3 weeks now and managed to lose a total of 1lb, STS today combination of things:- CBA immune system working hard against virus'? Poor planning. I am trying harder now. I am obviously feeling lower than I had realised, almost burst into tears after chatting to Alan the consultant post weigh in. Onwards and downwards hopefully.

Keep posting @maddiemay as it may well help to keep you on the straight and narrow! A STS is perfectly acceptable when life gets in the way. I am a regular 0.5lb a week loser with regular STS's for good measure!
You can't change the past so focus on the future. Good luck going forward.

Glorious day here (and even in Scotland @beanielou and @Jellybaby), it really lifts the spirits. ❤️🌞
I had my hair cut this morning, really pleased with it. We've got football tonight and really hoping for a win so let's hope for the best. 🤞 It'll be well worth the Crunchie swips. 🤣
Good to hear from you @maddiemay .Sorry it's taking a while to get back into SW. You're absolutely right about planning. If you have a plan and buy in the right things then you're good to go. 👍
Snap! I had prawns today too @bubbs .😋 DH doesn't eat seafood so I had mine at lunch time.
Your colleagues sound crazy to even think about the jabs @Coxy11 .Now you're getting more regular work you are right to bite the bullet and start taking lunch in. You couldn't keep going on a handful of almonds.
As long as you enjoyed your 'birthday' cake @joedenise , it was worth the swips.
Today's plan -
B Porridge (HE fibre), blueberries (S), banana (F), HE1 calcium
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce with spaghetti (P, S, F), HE 2 calcium Parmesan
Swips - LTL mayo 1, Crunchie 3

What a lovely days it’s been. Even did a bit of work outside in boss’s garden by the large fishpond!! I am taking in lunch now and actually ate it today. Monday I was stuffing in my roll whilst driving home at 3pm we were so busy. Today was more measured.
Snap @maman I too had a haircut this evening. Had my other rice pot for dinner and DH had pizza as both adult children ate out with friends. I had earmarked Aldi skinny sausages so they will be frozen for another day.
I’m in London tomorrow all day then dinner and quiz at the pub for BIL’s birthday. Will take lunch to London and choose wisely at the pub.
Sorry you were disappointed @maddiemay - keep posting - I find it helps and motivates too xCross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2026 founding member 😊 Read 26 books in 2026 8/26 Currently reading Raven Black by Ann Cleeves0 -
