    Morning everyone,

I’m working two days on the bounce - luckily I didn’t have to start at 7am and drive a van to Colchester like DH!

    Food today:

    B - spinach omelette, satsumas - P, S

    L - WM ham roll, apple, skinny bar - Fibre, P, S, 3.5

D - smoked salmon and pea pasta - SWIPs for single cream - 5

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 8.5

That makes more sense re: delay for BIL @bubbs but even so, June feels ages away. Let’s hope they can see him sooner xx

Afternoon all, it's another dry day but it's really blowy and set to get windier! I did a machine load of washing yesterday afternoon and hung it out first thing this morning - I was out hanging it on the line at 6.30!

Had an early start as DH had an eye appointment at Maidstone Hospital and the Dr he saw today reckons he'll have is op done in a few months time (just hope they avoid our holidays!). He's also adding him to the waiting list for his other eye as the waiting time is over a year so that means he'll have made a start and not have to wait quite as long for the 2nd eye to be done.

We left home about 8 and didn't get home until just after 12.30 as did shopping on way home. Starving by the time we got home.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon & mushroom sandwich (toasted) - Fibre; P; S; 1.5
    L - scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms - P; S; F
    D - tuscan macaroni chicken - Calcium; P; S; F

    Calcium - milk; Primula
    Fibre - bread
    Swips - LF spread 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better today @bubbs. It's really not like you to be off your food! I despair at the way your GP's surgery works (or rather doesn't☹️).

Hope you are feeling more yourself today @beanielou . Shame you missed WI last night but keep plodding and hope for a good result next week.👍🏻

It's the same here @joedenise , very blowy and much colder without the sunshine. 🫰🏻the surgery for Joe fits around your planned holidays.

Thanks for the recipe @Jellybaby . You and @Coxy11 are both pleased with Mo's recipes so they must be good. I'll have to take a look myself.

    Today's plan-
B- HE fibre porridge, strawberries (S), banana (F), HE calcium milk
    L- ham, eggs (P), vegetable hash (F,S)
D- chilli con carne with rice (P,S,F), cottage cheese (P)
    Swips-0

Thanks everyone. Yesterday was not a good day. Today is better and I’ve done an online shop for Thursday.
Had meatballs & tomato pasata & pasta for lunch. I’m avoiding the chocolate which I did not manage yesterday.

    Look after yourself @beanielou.

I did my body magic stint moving stones this morning 😇 came home, had a hot bath and pinched a packet of DS’s favourite crisps! Didn’t even check the swips but think they’re 7 or 8. Weather was absolutely horrid and I was soaked to the skin.

It’s chicken curry for dinner with tenderstem broccoli on the side.

Morning all, we've had rain and wind overnight and it's a bit showery this morning although there is some blue sky so hopefully we'll see a bit of sun later. Definitely not very warm though.

Glad you had a better day yesterday @bubbs as definitely not like you to be off your food!

Good you had a better day yesterday @beanielou; look after yourself. Shame you had to miss your WI but your health must come first. Hopefully you'll be able to go next week. Is it possible for you to go to a different group this week, although that makes for a very short week next week?

I've cocked up a bit with my planning for today and will be using Swips when I had wanted to keep them very low this week after having wine and cake at the weekend!

My hayfever is worse than usual and it doesn't help that I've caught DH's cold on top of that so I'm not feeling brilliant at the moment.

    Today's plan:

    B - Welsh rarebit, pickled onions - Fibre; Calcium; S; F
    L - stuffed peppers - P; S; F; 6
    D - Caribbean lamb and black bean curry, rice - P; S; F; 3

    Calcium - milk, cheese
    Fibre - bread
    Swips - cheese 6; mango chutney 3

    Have a good day everyone.

No, not going to another group Denise. Find it hard enough to get to the one I go to.

    Morning all,

Sorry I missed you weren’t feeling well @bubbs 🤞you’re better now. Look after yourself too @joedenise

It’s absolutely freezing cold and very windy (again) but at least no snow! I’m a bit achey after yesterday’s stone shovelling but hoping salsa later will loosen me up.

    Today’s food:
Breakfast - sweet omelette, banana, raspberries, yoghurt 2 swips, tbsp toffee syrup 0.5 swip
Lunch - lentil soup, soft pitta (fibre), smoked ham, salad and pickles
Dinner - chilli salmon, new potatoes, roasted tomatoes, onions, broccoli and cauliflower

    Have a good day everyone.
