Morning all (only just!), it's another one which has just disappeared. DH had a physio appointment this morning but it was a bit of a waste of time as the physio said it looks like he needs more than physio so has written to the GP to suggest that he could do with seeing someone about a steroid injection or possibly referral to an Orthopaedic surgeon. Told him to chase it up if he hasn't heard anything in a week's time so we'll see.
Went shopping after the hospital and spent another fortune - it seems never ending but I have at least added some more tins to the larder cupboard so if things get worse we'll at least still be able to eat healthily!
Well done on not opening the hot cross buns @bubbs. I can't take or leave them fortunately as DH often buys them for himself.
Glad you enjoyed the salmon in watercress sauce @beanielou. Sounds really nice and something I'd like though not sure DH would as he's not keen on salmon!
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - Fibre; S; F
L - eggs, air fried mini roasties, mushrooms - P; S; F
D - smoked haddock in mustard sauce, mash, tenderstem brocolli, petit pois -Calcium, P; S; FCalcium - milk
Fibre - oats
Swips - none plannedHave a good day everyone.

It was really cold here overnight and first thing this morning but sun came out and has been a beautiful day. We went for a walk this morning and sat in the sun for coffee afterwards.😎
Plenty of Body Magic shifting those stones @Jellybaby but thank goodness there weren't as many as your dad originally ordered, you'd still be at it!🤣
Thanks for the picture of the Aldi sausages @Coxy11 . It seems there is only a marginal difference (0.25 swips) between them and Sainsbury's BGTY which are price matched but it's good to know. I've been really lucky with YS stuff in Aldi recently so one day they might have sausages.☺️
I love Hot Cross buns @bubbs. We're having a train picnic on Eurostar on Saturday and I'm having them and crisps as a treat!😋
Hope Joe's various appointments don't affect your coming holidays @joedenise .🫰🏻
We had a delicious meal out with friends last night and I made reasonable choices. Except for the wine swips the prawn cocktail and lamb loin with mash and greens would have been quite SW friendly. Breakfast and lunch were on plan as usual.
We're having a very similar meal to you this evening @joedenise. Tonight we'll have the sauce from the garlic mushrooms but how do you make your mustard sauce?🤔
Today's plan-
B- HE fibre toast, HE calcium1 milk, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F)
L- tuna salad (P,S,F)
D- smoked haddock (P), mash (F), broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, garlic mushrooms (S, HE calcium 2 cheese)
Swips- LTL mayo 10 -
I'm using a PON recipe @maman. Not tried it before but hopefully it'll be good:
Will let you know what it's like tomorrow.
Have included quite a few PON recipes in the plan this month.

Thanks @joedenise . The sauce looks very easy to make, it's the method I use for cheese sauce for cauliflower cheese and lasagne but obviously without poaching fish in the milk. It uses just swips for the cornflour plus 2 HE calcium. It'll be interesting to know how the mustard sauce works out. The mustard powder is free and I'd use the M&S English mustard which is also swip free.
