Some really excellent results on here since I posted on Friday. So pleased for you @Glad ,getting to target is a brilliant feeling. You did well to only gain a half pound after a holiday @bubbs but to have a really good loss after being away all week is amazing @Coxy11 . And for you to STS after spending most of the week visiting the hospital @Jellybaby . So pleased for you all!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm tired today after a long drive yesterday. DD1 has stayed behind to spend a few days with family but I think it was worth it for me to catch up with everyone. It was my little niece's 2nd birthday but I took a salad and a banana to eat on the beach so only a slice of cake had swips.
I'm making a cheese sauce today but haven't decided how yet. I think I've got a Schwartz mix in the cupboard to try or I could make it from scratch as except for a a few cups of tea I have two calcium choices available. 🤔
Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), milk (part calcium)
L- ham salad (P,S,F)
D- gammon (P), new potatoes (F), cauliflower and broccoli cheese (S plus calcium)
swips- weekend wine plus cornflour or cheese sauce mix.0 -
Thanks for the swips re the Racer bar Coxy and well done on SOW and your loss. In fact well done to all those who lost 👏👏
We answered all the questions from the solicitor….made it clear we’d already answered the questions and had provided everything we have. They then decided they wanted us to get insurance from us for the buyer. I suggested the buyer purchase said insurance from the money we’ve deducted from the price of the property 🤬 We were having trouble booking a removal van for the end of the month without a £300+ surcharge because it was leading to a bank holiday weekend so suggested the week before. The folk in the place we’re buying couldn’t accommodate so we went back to the removal firm and negotiated the extra fee down to £150 surplus. They offer a hybrid service where we pack some and they complete what we haven’t done..so hopefully we can make it a bit cheaper. It goes against the grain to pay extra but they apparently have to hire extra staff over busy times and it costs them more. So removal is booked…..just hoping it goes ahead and our buyers don’t pull out because of their solicitor. Just remind me NEVER to move house again.
I’ve been packing some of the things we won’t be using and my arm is aching now so I’m chilling for a while.
I’ve lost another 1lb. I’ve been trying to keep to free food and hea&b, with 1 small treat a day and having brunch and then my evening meal at an earlier time if I’ve been at home. It seems to be working as I can’t remember the last time I had a run of 3 losses 😃January spends - £587.580 -
Congratulations on target @Glad 🎉 and on the loss @milann 🤞on the move, it’s a stressful time.
I had a great time with friends over the weekend and definitely went over swips as I had alcohol but back on plan yesterday. Mother decided she wasn’t up to chiropodist this morning so I went as it was too late to cancel. I’m now walking on clouds 🤣
Breakfast was the usual granola, fruit and yoghurt using fibre choice and 0.5 swips. I’m about to have more fibre, soft pitta with Turkey slices and salad and salad cream 1.5 swips. Dinner is Morrison’s fish cake and roasted veg 2 swips.
Couldn’t believe the price of the fish cakes though - £3.60 😳 DS did shopping otherwise I wouldn’t have bought them!
