I think we cross posted yesterday and I missed your loss @milann . Well done on your 1lb and getting that stone off that you wanted. 👍🏼 Does that mean you're at target now or do you have a new goal?🤔

It's a hard way to lose weight @Glad but if the sickness helps then it'll be a silver lining. 🤞🏼 Just out of curiosity, do they sell diet lemonade in pubs? I was just thinking it would make a big difference to the swips in a shandy.

Sorry to hear that you're back to the hospital visiting again @Jellybaby .☹️ Perhaps you'll be able to influence the caterers soon to produce SW food.😁 Now that your DB has arrived, I do hope things get easier for you. 🤗

Hope the weather is kind to you @Coxy11 . We have the same baking hot weather as @bubbs (sorry @beanielou and @Jellybaby) , forecast to get to 28 degrees today. I've had that chance meeting thing happen to me too. A colleague ended up in front of me in the queue to see the Bayeux tapestry (when it was in France😉).

What with your thumb and the hot weather it must be very difficult to sleep @joedenise . Hope you get a better night tonight. 😴 Your menu sounds very normal, hope Joe copes OK and you don't get too frustrated.

    Today's plan-
B- Fry up (fibre, P,F), milk for drinks (calcium1)
L- Spanish omelette and salad (P,S,F)
D- Tom Kerridge type bacon and tomato pasta (P,S,F)
    Swips- none planned

Hope your hand is doing ok jdenise. It’s so frustrating doing things with one hand. I’m 3 weeks in since I dislocated and fractured my elbow and could take the splint off yesterday….i did put it on when I went out just for reassurance as I didn’t want to knock it. It’s my shoulder that’s giving me more agro though than my actual elbow. I had an MRI on that on Monday and go back on 10 or 11 August. I still can’t bend it to my mouth so everything is either finger food or just a fork 🥴. I’m presuming if necessary they’ll transfer me to a hospital where our new place will be as we’re hoping to move before September.
im not at target yet - still have at least a stone to go…ideally 1 1/2 stone. I’ve been hovering around the stone for at least a year…..I get a couple of LBS below then end up a couple over again.

I used to be prescribed ducalax (I think you can buy it over the counter) and up your water intake Bubbs. Am I I right thinking you take N@pr@xon……keep your eye on things and go to the gp if there’s no movement as that’s what gave me all my problems needing surgery. Take care 👍

senna does nothing for me ,but Laxido daily and Dulcolax every few days seems to help

This is not advice just ‘lived experience’,😀

Afternoon all, another day of not doing anything much. Had a dental appointment to replace the filling I lost in France last month so that's it for another 6 months.

No advice @bubbs as not something I suffer with very often and when I do a good walk usually helps especially if there's no loo around!

    Today's plan:

B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions - Fibre, calcium; S
    L - corned beef hash - S; F; 5
    D - pork steak, jacket potato, veg - P;S;F

    Fibre - bread
    Calcium - milk, cheese
    Swips - corned beef 4; horseradish 1

    Have a good day everyone.

Denise, hope your thumb is feeling better? I had never suffered until i started tablets for my shoulder and always used to say, don't know how anyone can be constipated if they eat healthy 🤣 now i know that is not true!

Still hot here but not as hot as yesterday thank god!

    Lunch,

Forgot to take a pic, picky plate and 2 sv for ryvita cracker bread.

Tea, fibre, dressing was yoghurt dressing
