Thanks goodness the weather is good enough for you to redo the washing @joedenise . At least your neighbour had the good manners to apologise. I remember staying in a holiday cottage in Brittany one year and we lit an open fire. The smell of woodsmoke permeated everything throughout the building. I had to wash everything when I got back, even clothes we hadn't worn.

Hoe you're having a good day @Coxy11 . How far are you planning to walk each day or does it depend on the terrain?🤔

It's another lovely day here. I'll miss it when the weather changes. I actually took a cardigan out with me yesterday as it was so windy but didn't need it.

I did the tiny bit of ironing I had earlier this morning and then took everything out of the larder and stored it in the dining room. When it was built I just got DH to put in some temporary shelving (carcases from our old kitchen) as I wanted to use it first and then decide how I wanted it arranged. It 's been put on hold as it wasn't urgent but DH wants to get it done. It should be sorted by the end of the week. 🤞🏼

    Today's plan-
B- porridge, strawberries, blueberries, banana (fibre, S,F), milk (calcium)
L- LO chicken casserole with pickled cabbage (P,F,S)
D- chicken curry and rice (P,F,S)
Swips- 0 (unless I have some mango chutney)

@Coxy11 you’re in my neck of the woods. If I see 2 lady walkers on my rounds I’ll give you a wave. Go well and go safe xx

I weighed in this morning and STS. Bit frustrated really because I’ve had a good week but can’t be helped. Spanish tortilla and salad for tea and I’ve got a curry in the slow cooker for tomorrow. Everyone is in at different times so it will be warm up your portion and serve with pierce n ding rice.
nothing much to report really, My garden is burgeoning with produce - French beans, salad leaves, spring onion, beetroot, courgettes, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers are in almost every meal and the freezer is filling up nicely. Even had courgette baked oats which were much better than expected. Courgettes and potato soup is made and frozen in portions for autumn because it’s too warm for soup.

Right, off to water everywhere - at least I’m getting the steps and weight training in

Thanks for the support ,I think the main priority is that my weight loss is so slow ,its dispiriting ,I know a lot of the drugs I’m on don’t help wight loss

The latest ones which have made a lot of difference pain wise ,say in the info leaflet that most patients will gain 14% of their starting weight within the first year !
just seems to be a constant battle with v low returns

    Will plod on

I weighed at a friends yesterday and had lost 1 lb which takes me 1lb under the stone I wanted to loose. I’m quite happy with that as I’ve been keeping an eye on what I’ve eaten but with an arm out of action I’m going for convenience and ease of eating so lots of finger food.

😂I’m going for a trial of an electric trike on Monday😂 When we move we’ll be near the coastal path and it’s been a long-standing joke that I’d get a tricycle after seeing a lady on one. The company that makes the bikes have opened a showroom about an hour from here so it makes sense to try one whilst we’re still here. I won’t be buying one until after we’ve finished the jobs on the house if we’ve got any spare cash by then. I’m hoping a short ride each day will give me some strength in my legs and shed some more lbs 😂 I’m just hoping I can stretch my arm to the handle bars at the moment.

Well done on all the losses folks.

Yes @Suffolksue , some medications are known to cause weight gain.☹️ Of course we're all on here because we want to lose weight and keep it in check but most importantly we're doing it by healthy eating. Even if your losses are small, it's got to be better than eating junk (however tempting😉). As you said, Keep Plodding!!🤗

I was feeling queasy this morning so didn't eat at breakfast time. My stomach wasn't right yesterday so giving it a bit of a rest will do no harm. I've been to the tip this morning but nothing more exciting to report.🤣

    Today's plan-
B- milk for drinks (part calcium)
L- JP with cottage cheese and salad (P,S,F)
D- chicken (P), chips (F), green beans, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
Swips- none planned (but may have a square of chocolate this afternoon and finish my book club book. I'll be glad to see the back of it. 👍🏼)

    Afternoon all
We went away in the camper thursday and friday night, lovely pub site right by the canal, free stopover if you eat in the pub so we did both nights, not much for pescys but I had fish and chips one night and halloumi burger the other. Weather was hot hot and we did a lot of walking, and kite flying 😁 my go to on a hot evening is shandy and I had a few! so I expected to put on a little, but have until next saturday to pull it back.
However the night we got back I vomited nearly every hour, all night! felt poorly all of the sunday too, no idea what it was as I'd had cereal, tuna baps and camembert with new potatos that day??
Obviously my first thought was well at least there's the weight loss!

Have a good day all before it gets roasting again
