    Hello from Reeth!

Very windy here and torrential rain overnight. Tent nearly blew into the sheep field next door this morning. We are averaging 12 miles a day. Aysgarth tomorrow.

Food not too bad and not too carb-y!

Can you believe I was in a hamlet called Thwaite yesterday squeezing through a stile with my enormous backpack and standing on the other side was a lady I worked with in London 8 years ago! How bizarre!

Hope your op went well @joedenise and wishing you a good recovery x

Beanie we have not had rain for at least 2-3 mths , everywhere is parched , so many fires, all the grass is brown and the trees are dropping loads of leaves like autumn, but it's because there is no rain

More hospital drama, turn of the other parent to be unwell 🙈 one of the nurses recognised me from a few weeks ago when Dad was in and joked they’d soon be giving me my own security pass!

Food has not been great. Not eaten a lot, long days getting home late I’ve snacked on rubbish. Dinner tonight was steak and salad, first proper meal since Saturday lunch time.

DB has arrived 🙄 so I’m planning an early night.

Hope your hand heals quickly @joedenise

The weather is awful isn’t it @beanielou its been dark all day with heavy rain

Morning all, it's a nice day and washing machine is on again! DH will be hanging out on the lie once done. hopefully hw won't peg the tee shirts out of shape.

I've just talked him through baked oats so that will be breakfast with some fruit and yoghurt - Fibre, P, F.

I think he'll be ok doing stuffed peppers for lunch - Calcium, S;F

He'll be o this eying as well - it's shepherds pie with veg. The base needs to come out of the freezer to defrost as forgot last night. he'll just need to reheat and cook some potatoes to mash - nothing too difficult.

Had a lousy night last night and was up before 5.30. Suspect I'll be tired enough to sleep tonight hopefully.

Hae a good day every one.
