Morning all, was a bit cloudy first thing but the sun is now trying to break through; still warm even though cloudy. Bedding washed and out on the line. Only been out for about 1/2 hour and it's nearly dry as it's so breezy - just had to go and unwrap the sheet from round the line!

Good loss @Suffolksue. I rarely lose more than 0.5lb a week so it's really slow going but as long as it's going that the main thing. What are you finding hard? Is it anything we can help with?

Today's plan (it's going to be a high swip day today as DH bought the wrong sausages for tonight's dinner!):

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
    L - burger, onions, gherkin slices, soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
    D - toad in the hole - S; F; 12 (eek!)

    Fibre - soft pitta
    Fibre 2 - WM flour
    Calcium - milk
Swips - butchers sausage 1; burger 0.5; sausages 12 (swipping at 6 each as not sure!)

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done @Suffolksue, that's a really good loss. You must be doing something right!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Like @joedenise said, what is it that you're finding hard? I'm sure we can try to help.

Glad you had a good break @bubbs . Surely you must have had fish and chips or ice cream? That's the law on holiday.😁

Shame about the sausages @joedenise but it's a one off and definitely better than wasting them. DD1 gifted me some high swip sausages a while ago (bought by mistake instead of veggie ones). It was a big pack so I gradually fed them to DH when I was having BGTY or Aldi.

It's been a strange day here so far, we even had about 2 minutes of rain.🤔 It's cooler than it has been (24 degrees) but forecast to be 29 again by Wednesday. 🥵 Hope it's just right for you in Yorkshire @Coxy11 . Enjoy your walk with DSis, plenty of Body Magic even if food isn't good. 🤞🏼

Yet another Sunday without a roast as we're out this afternoon so needed something I could prep in advance, casserole is in the oven now and will reheat when we get back. I made meatballs yesterday so will cook those too while the oven is on.

    Today's plan-
B- eggs on toast with baked beans (fibre, P,F), milk for drinks (calcium)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
D- chicken casserole with greens and cauliflower (P,S,F)
Swips- cornflour 1, LTL mayo 1, weekend wine☺️

We had about 2 minutes of rain too @maman; hardly worth the effort! We were actually in the car but it stopped as quickly as it started.

Got home to find that next door had lit their incinerator bin and the smoke was blowing all over my washing! Not happy but at least he came round to apologise. I've hung it all over the airer in the hopes of getting rid of the smokiness before putting away in the drawer - don't want it making everything else smoky!

Finished the trousers I was making last night and have now cut out the fabric for some wide legged shorts and a skirt. Fitted the shorts on easily but had to fiddle around to get the skirt on as both back and front needed to be cut on the fold. Once I'd done that it left just the pockets and waistband casing which was the problem as needed to be on double fabric on the bias! I did eventually manage to fit it on.

Pretty pleased to have got so much out of 3m of fabric as it was more expensive than my usual stuff. Doesn't feel quite so bad getting 3 garments out of just over £30's worth of fabric! Think I'd struggle to find trousers, shorts and a skirt for that price.

    Afternoon all 😁

No rain here, Maman they reckon going to be 31 here again Weds 😱 i had more than fish and chips and an ice cream, that's why i am on it like a car bonnet this week!

    Well done Sue

Denise i would have been fuming, also i know it was in an incinerator but so dangerous having any fire in this weather, only need a spark or hot ash and that is a different story, so many big fires at the minute 😢

    Lunch half fibre and calcium.

Tea we are having chicken salad, chicken was cooked this morning, all washing up to date, just some ironing to do 🙄

Good evening from Hawes, North Yorkshire!

Long drive but beautiful scenery. We came off the A1 and had a 45 minute drive through the Dales. Really looking forward to the walk albeit tomorrow we are walking some of the Pennine Way up the third highest peak in Yorkshire 😱😱😱 Better to get it out the way early though. Hotel is comfortable and clean so that’s a bonus - camping for the next three nights!

Well done @Suffolksue great loss x

Annoying about the washing @joedenise !

    Food today:

    B - apple, banana - S, free

L - pork pie, bean and potato salad - free

    D - M&S grain salad, melon - 9, S

    Calcium - milk

Have told DSis I’m on SW. She had a Bakewell slice at the services with her coffee. I just had coffee 😇 We have breakfast included but neither of us are big on cooked breakfast. Hoping for some fruit. We will need to buy supplies for lunch and dinner tomorrow. There’s a Spar opposite the hotel - will see what is available, hopefully something lightweight and SWIP free 🤞🏻I brought a packet of cous cous as an emergency!

Morning all, a bit overcast but still warm and there's a bit of breeze. Hanging the washing on the airer overnight didn't work I could smell the smoke as soon as I walked out of the bedroom this morning! The bedding is back in the machine for another wash - so frustrating! Machine has finished and the washing is now back out on the line having a good blow.

Glad you had a good drive up to Yorkshire @Coxy11. Enjoy your walking, as I've said previously, rather you than me! Hope you can find some lightweight SW friendly food - hopefully containing lots of protein to keep you feeling fuller for longer. Good idea on the emergency couscous.

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix, milk, fruit - Fibre; part Calcium; S; F
    L - chicken fajitas - Fibre; P; S; 1.5
    D - sweet and sour pork, rice - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - Weetabix; SW wrap
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Afternoon all 😁

Was really nippy this morning first thing but it's really hot now, just getting hotter as the week goes on 🙄

Denise, they could have said they were having a fire and you could have got washing in, i think its very selfish.

Coxy hope it is not too hot for you walking.
