Morning all, warm again but absolutely no breeze! Another load of washing done and out on the line. DH commented that it will probably all need to go in the tumble dryer later! Think it will dry ok without that!
I would have thought oyster sauce would be more than 1 Swip @Coxy11 unless you only have a spoonful of course! Glad you enjoyed the outdoor exercise even if you did get a headache halfway through - suspect that was probably dehydration if you hadn't been drinking regularly during the exercises.
Today's plan:
B - baked oats, mixed frozen fruit, yoghurt - Fibre; S; F
L - stuffed peppers - Calcium; S; F
D - steak, chips, onion/peppers/mushroom mix, maybe salad as well - P; S; 1.5Calcium - milk; cheese
Fibre - oats
Swips - frozen chips 1.5; possibly a mini milk lolly 2Have a good day everyone.

It’s the beef and broccoli in oyster sauce recipe on the app @joedenise - serves 4 - 2 tbsp oyster sauce plus some cornflour. I will report back!

Can you post the recipe if it's any good please? Lots of us don't have the app now! Doesn't seem a lot of sauce for 4 servings!
Have portioned and frozen the batch cooked mince/veg mix. So far 4 portions of bolognaise, enough meat base for a 4 portion shepherds pie. The 4 portions of chilli are currently in the freezer but need a bit longer to become frozen enough to vac pack.

It's a good feeling to have plenty of meals in the freezer @joedenise . I'm going to use the last of the meatballs tomorrow and then make more at the weekend when I've got the oven on.🤞🏼it'll be cool enough to have a roast at last.
Shame about the headache @Coxy11 but well done for persevering with the exercise class. 👍🏼 I was drinking loads of water/squash last week but it's dropped off now, need to get back to that.
25 degrees here but it feels hotter.🥵 I'm learning to adjust by trying to get things done in the early mornings like they do in hot countries. I've not resorted to a siesta yet though! 😴🤣
I'm going to make some tomato sauce today ready for the meatballs and some for the freezer.
Today's plan-
B- toast, eggs, bacon, tomatoes (P,S, fibre), milk (calcium)
L- ham, bubble & squeak, pickles (P,S,F)
D- Austrian ham hash with greens (P,S,F)
Swips- 0**I may have another square of chocolate this afternoon with a cuppa. I've been ploughing through my Book Club book and it's hard work so having something to look forward to helps!🤣

Thanks @Coxy11 I would have the opposite problem, parents would never be away! Both DSs have said don’t do it so I don’t feel so bad 🙈
Salsa this morning and it was hot (as in temperature, definitely not my dancing 🤣🤣). Came home and did an hour’s weeding as I needed another shower anyway.
Breakfast was yoghurt, passion fruit curd, granola and chopped apple - 4.5 syns. Dinner is tuna salad as I’ve loads of odds and ends to use up. Swips will depend on what dressing I decide to use.

Because I've taken over most of the cooking to stay on plan, I always make enough for 4 servings and either fridge or freeze 2. Great for nights I don't have time to cook, and also to throw a couple in the van to save eating out when we are away
I get 'muggy weather' headaches @Coxy11 as well as when I don't drink enough water
One of our doctors is leaving so lots of cake around today, I did have a slice of lemon drizzle, no guilt applied, it's not every day any more 😊I am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Change of plan for lunch! DH was feeling bored so we went for a drive down to Maidstone. Had a good walk round and didn't even spend any money which I was pleased about! Was going to eat in Spoons there but DH said we'll just go into the Sheerness one and then pick up the couple of bits which were on my shopping list. Only wanted a couple of spices but the World Aisle had 20% off everything so I ended up buying more than was on my list but at least I won't need to buy any spices for a while as they are all good size packs. Have topped up the couple that needed doing and have sealed them on the vacuum machine, much better than a clip.
I was good and had jacket potato, beans, salad - they don't even supply butter any more not that I ever used to use it. Had a diet lemonade to drink.

You did well to go out, eat SW friendly and get the bargain spices @joedenise .👍
Yes @Glad , HM ready meals are a godsend when you're in a hurry but I also put at least one on the meal plan every week just in case . It means that if plans change and we eat out then it can stay in the freezer so that no fresh stuff is wasted.
DH has always made breakfast here so when I started SW I gave him a list of suitable breakfasts and that's worked for us. 😊

Spice purchases sound good @joedenise and well done on the SW friendly lunch out x
A bit of cake every now and again should be the law @Glad x
The beef and broccoli in oyster sauce was lovely - clean plates all round. I was very hungry this afternoon though. My tummy has been gripey since I returned from Cyprus tbh. No work again for me again next week 🙄🙄
Will screen shot the recipe.

Morning all, another sunny day here and no washing to do!
You have the patience of a saint with work @Coxy11 there’s maybe a wee part-time job out there waiting for you to find it 😉I’m going into town to have a look for a few bits for my next holiday. I’m thinking a couple of floaty dresses but I don’t normally wear dresses and I hate shopping so goodness knows how this will go 🤣
I enjoyed breakfast so much yesterday I’m having it again - all 4.5 swips of yoghurt, tbsp passion fruit curd, granola and chopped apple. I’m trying out the 5% Greek yoghurt at 2 swips per 100g to see if it keeps me fuller and it does taste so much better. Dinner is chilli salmon with roasted veg.
@Coxy11 I know you’ve tried Mo from FB recipes. I came across another Donna tackles SW when I was scrolling last night. I noticed she does an orzo salad very like the ones we replicate from that well known store!
