Well done on your loss @Glad and knocking time off your Parkrun!πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

I know what you mean about your 'cheat day'. I've done similar, ever since I started SW, by saving my swips and using almost all of them at weekends instead of the recommended 10-15 per day. I find that it helps me to have something to look forward to at weekends.

I'd have definitely refused the tortilla chips and gone for the wine @Jellybaby 🀣. I like crisps but not those, I just like plain ready salted.

It's been a lovely day here today. It's about 23 degrees and a bit of breeze too, far more manageable than the past couple of weeks.

I've washed the covers off one of the sitting room sofas @joedenise. They're dry now and I'm just about to iron them and put them back on. It's been too hot to even think about it before today.

No gammon here today, although I have some in the freezer.☺️

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), milk (calcium)
    L- ham salad (P,S,F)
D- pork casserole with rice (P,S,F)
Swips- 4? for the casserole, 1 LTL mayo, weekend wine😁

The gammon is still cooking - label says it serves 13(!) so I can see a lot of gammon in our future meals. DS2 picked up an extra shift at work today. He doesn’t mind working Sundays as he does 4pm-9pm and the store is shut, so it’s headphones on and just facing up. DD’s friend is here but she’s vegetarian - hoping if she stays for dinner she will be okay with roasted veg and potatoes!!

The last courgette from the plot wasn’t good 🀒 so just having red onion, carrots and cauliflower. It smells lovely.

Thanks for the recipe feedback @Jellybaby - anything with cheese goes down well here!

I have never been line dancing @Glad too self conscious! Am trying to follow the plan to the letter at least for the first few weeks so no cheat days here yet…..

Thanks @maman x I think the main thing is measuring out my milk - I have strong tea and coffee but it still all adds up! Also some SWIP values have changed so it’s good to have the scanner back in my life 🀣

    Morning,

I’m up early as DH needed to be at work for 7am today and I was worried he wouldn’t wake up. He went back to our old town to watch the match last night and it’s an hours drive back. I’m seeing DSis today - we plan to go to a Chatham. I need a few bits plus there are a couple of good charity shops there too apparently.

    Food today:

B - overnight oats - oats, frozen cherries, mullerlight - fibre, free, 0.5

L - taking an apple with me and hoping for a JP 🀞🏻

D - FB SW Mo carbonara - P, free, calcium

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - skinny bar 3.5

Afternoon all, another lovely day with temperature of around 24/25 so very pleasant and virtually no breeze either.

Another one up early this morning - DH woke me up when he got up at 5; I went back to sleep after a while and he woke me up at 6! Didn't need to be up until 7 so not a happy bunny. He thought we needed to leave at 7 for my hospital appointment. That is actually next week not this week! Didn't need to leave until 8 this morning as my appointment wasn't until 9.15! It was my pre op this morning; next week is my thumb op which is when we'll need to leave at 6 as I have to be there at 7am!

    Today's plan:

B - Weetabix, milk, strawberries - Fibre; part Calcium; S
    L - chicken fajita - Fibre; P; S; 1.5
    D - ham, egg, chips, onion/pepper/mushroom mix - P; S; F

    Fibre - weetabix; WM wrap
    Calcium - milk
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 1.5; wine 11 (2 small glasses)

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone. Gorgeous day here, not too hot but everywhere is bathed in sunshine. Perfect.

I’ve weighed in this morning and gained 1lb. Totally justified and thoroughly enjoyed.

Back on the straight and narrow now for a good 10 days before life might show up in the form of overindulge

For lunch today I had the most delicious salad of tuna, boiled egg and green beans (homegrown) I had it with some balsamic glaze (swips) and I had yog/berries for brekkie. We are having a SW moussaka for tea with salad. Body magic (if it’s still called that) is going strong on the gardening front. I seem to spend a good hour a day lugging watering cans up and down the garden from the only full waterbutt left full. We can’t use a hosepipe as none we have are long enough to get down to the greenhouse and veg plot.

Right, off to see what I can pick to put in our salad for tea and water up.

    That’s annoying @joedenise ! Hope the pre-op went okay.

Great body magic @Matron_Midge and good for the mind too x Annoying about the gain πŸ™

We ended up in a nice coffee/sandwich shop who only served sandwiches - no salads or JP’s. I had the best of a bad bunch and opted for a chicken, rocket and avocado sandwich on wholemeal and am counting all my SWIPs for about three days on that alone. Trying not to be too hard on myself but not a lot I could do as DSis had been there before and doesn’t know I’m back to SW.

I did a fair bit of walking today and plan to go to the allotment tomorrow so hoping it doesn’t sabotage an otherwise good week 🀞🏻
