It's easily done @bubbs . Fortunately, I only need distance glasses for driving so I just leave them in the car unless I'm going to the football or theatre then I do try to keep them in the case until I need them.

I bought mine on a buy 2 get one half price and one free offer in Boots so the free pair are on the side in case there's something detailed enough to need them on the television.

@Coxy11 I would love to have a little vegetable plot, I do a few in pots but I don’t have much room.

Well done on your losses @bubbs @Jellybaby 👏

I lost 1lb and knocked nearly 2 mins off last week’s parkrun time 😁

Sorry about your mum bubbs. One of my mums friends has it and has injections in it to stop it progressing further.

    Morning all,

I’m going to yoga this morning - first time for a month due to DDad’s visit and my trip over there. I’m food shopping with Mum straight after.

    Food today:

    B - banana, apple - free, S

L - toasted protein bagel thin, poached egg, tomatoes - fibre, P, S

D - roast gammon, roasted veg (courgette, tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower), AF potatoes - P, S, free

    Calcium - milk

    Fibre - 2 x hifi bars

    SWIPs - 1tbsp apple sauce - 1, rum and Pepsi max - 3.5 = 4.5 total

Liked the bacon and mushroom pasta @Coxy11 . I’m a bit weird with the cheese, breaking it down into a sauce can easily put me off but I managed fine 🤣

Sorry to hear about your mum @bubbs my mum has it too. She has the dry version and was diagnosed five years ago, so far it’s not affected her sight. Hopefully your mum’s the same.

Swips went out the window last night when a friend popped in with wine and the well known branded tortilla chips. I didn’t have wine 😇 but estimate 21 for half bag of the chips 😳😳😳😳

Breakfast was granola, raspberries, strawberries, nectarine and Kvarg for breakfast - fibre and 0.5.
We’re having the cooked ham with Jersey Royals and salad for tea.

Another gorgeous day here, have a good one whatever you’re up to.

Morning all, it's another nice day but definitely a bit cooler. It's currently about 17 but forecast to warm up later to a max of 20 this afternoon. Another load of washing done including towels and tea towels but there's a bit of a breeze so should dry fairly quickly.

Sorry to hear about your mum @bubbs; hopefully she'll get treatment soon. Good that DH was able to superglue your specs so that they're ok as a spare pair. I don't really have that problem as wear mine all the time so don't need to take them off too often; quite honestly I wonder why I bothered having the cataracts done as hasn't made enough difference to still need varifocals rather than just reading glasses!

Well done @glad on your loss and cutting your park run time too.

Looks like a lot of us are having gammon this week for dinner. DH has sliced the cooked gammon up and we have some for today and tomorrow and a few bags in the freezer to use either in sandwiches or as part of a meal plus a couple of bags of chunks to use for carbonara. It's gone a very long way!

Won't be doing the bulk mince meals as haven't got enough onions! Only got a couple of small ones so will need to use them at lunchtime! Will pick some up on the way back from the hospital tomorrow morning.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
    L - burger, onions, gherkin slices, soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
    D - gammon, boiled potatoes, veg - P; S; F; 1.5

    Fibre - soft pitta
    Calcium - milk
    Swips - sausage 1; burger 0.5; LF spread 1.5; couple G&Ts 6

I've decided to keep track on a food diary on my laptop this week to see if it helps me shift a bit more weight as usually I just hope for the best and maybe don't always remember what Swips I've had!

    Have a good day everyone.

@Coxy11 enjoy the yoga, I forgot to mention a friend dragged me to line dancing 2 weeks ago, and I'm loving it 👢

sorry about your mum @bubbs fingers crossed about her sight x

cheat day yesterday (I really think a cheat day a week has helped me do so well, it really focuses me on the other days to make up for it) we shared a bottle of wine and a bag of malteasers, plus had some of mum's new potatos with butter for lunch!

    today
B - overnight oats, greek yoghurt, raspberries and blueberries
L - cottage cheese, found a new one in L1dl, really creamy and 1 swip per 200g pot, with beetroot and tomatoes
D - large salad with feta, boiled egg and olives, skyr yoghurt after
    snacks - fruit

    have a lovely sunday all
