I know but I had oats for breakfast and milk for tea/coffee plus cheese in my dinner tonight, so I’ve used up my HE’s for today. I think it’s about 15 SWIPs for the bread and avocado?

A 1lb gain is fine when you know why and you enjoyed it it @Matron_Midge . It's the unexplained gains that are so irritating. 🤣

Yes, @joedenise is right @Coxy11 , the sandwich wasn't as bad as you thought as you can have 3 healthy choices each day.

Most days, I usually stick to 2 out of habit but was pleased to see that we can now have a Subway roll. That's useful to know.

Thanks for posting that @bubbs .

I portioned up the 4 Bolognese meals I made yesterday. Today I've made chilli which is in the SC. I used beef cubes instead of mince as I have loads. M&S used to do a chunky chilli like it. I'll keep a portion out for lunch and freeze the rest. Today, I kept enough baked beans for my lunch and put the rest of the tin in with the chilli.

    Today's plan-

B- toast (fibre), eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), milk (calcium 1)

L- JP, baked beans (F), cheese (calcium 2), salad (S)

    D- chicken stir fry with noodles (P, S, F)

Swips - honey 3.5, square of chocolate 2?

    Morning,

Some great batch cooking there @maman I’ve never used chunky beef for chilli so might give it a go 😊

STS is good @beanielou is that what you expected?

We have a few errands to run today and I’m hoping to get to the allotment too. I was meant to be at the theatre in London tonight but we’ve changed the tickets to either Thursday or next week (niece arranging) so DSis has invited me to an outdoor fitness session later instead.

    Food today:

    B - AF bacon, poached egg, tomatoes - P, S

L - toasted SW tortilla wrap, cheese, 1 tbsp chilli jam, salad - Fibre, Calcium, 2, S

    D - broad bean, pea and gammon risotto - P, S, free

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 2 plus Hi Fi bar 3 = 5

Morning all, a bit cloudy this morning but still quite warm.

Well done on STS @beanielou - much better than a gain.

Enjoy the outdoor fitness @Coxy11 with your sis. What are you going to see at the theatre?

I'm planning on a batch cook of a mince/veg base in the SC today. Will get that on shortly, after I've had my coffee! Also need to a freezer inventory and rearrange things as so much has just been shoved in and it's not as organised as I'd like.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon and mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - fajita pasta - P; S; F; 3
    D - keema curry, rice, naan, mango chutney - Fibre; P; S; F; 3

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - naan
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 3; mango chutney 3

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Real life getting in the way of posting again - or read parents 😁. There is a bungalow across the road from them coming on the market and they are very keen I go for it. As awful as this sounds, I’m definitely not keen and I’m battling anxiety.

Back to SW, food has been on plan thankfully. I’m finding I’m not hungry when I get up these days so breakfast is getting pushed back to brunch/lunch then having dinner as usual. Whether it’s the collagen in my coffee first thing that’s making me fuller or even the warm weather, I think two meals a day is suiting my tummy issues.

I’m about to have a sweet omelette with banana, strawberries and mango with Kvarg 0.5 swips and a tbsp of skinny caramel syrup. Dinner is chicken stuffed with black pudding and wrapped with bacon, loads of roasted veg. It’s 3 swips for half a slice of black pudding and I’ll have a few tbsp of pepper sauce from Lidl - I think another 3 bull will need to check the app.

I have a day to myself so will catch up posts later. Have a good day everyone.

The mince/veg is cooking in the SC and the freezer inventory has been done. There are plenty of ingredients for meals so may try and get some more made between now and the weekend so that when DH is doing the cooking after I've had my op he'll basically only need to reheat the main and cook carb of some sort and some veg if it needs it.

Just need to get my thinking cap on as to what to make with what I've got!

    Don't do it @Jellybaby !You'll never have a moment to yourself. 🤣

Good idea to have the HM ready meals sorted before your op @joedenise . You don't want to have to give instructions after your experience with the fish pie. 😁

Glad it's cooler this week for an outdoor exercise session @Coxy11 . Last week you'd have melted. 🥵

4 chilli meals in the freezer and 2 smaller portions for me to have with a JP plus the one I had today. 👍

    Today's plan -

B fry up (P, F, fibre), milk (calcium)

    L- JP (F), chilli (P, S, F), salad (S)

D sausage, mash, peas (F), mixed greens, onions (S)

    Swips - BGTY sausages 2, gravy 3?

@Jellybaby I’m now 10 minutes drive from Mum (used to be an hour) and it suits me fine. She actually said to me when we moved ‘just because you live down the road, don’t think you can pop in all the time’ so I don’t.

I did the outdoor fitness session - it’s called MetaFit and is short bursts of aerobic exercises. I had to adapt some of the exercises as got a severe headache about halfway through - probably not breathing correctly/drinking enough. Trainer is doing ad hoc sessions during the summer so will see when the next one is. Theatre moved to Thursday night - it’s The World is full of married men acted by Barbie dolls (not even joking) https://www.theyardtheatre.co.uk/events/the-world-is-full-of-married-men

Will go for a walk to the local library today and have a parcel to post. Trying to get my steps up.

    Food today:

    B - spinach omelette - P, S

L - SW wrap, cheese, tbsp chilli jam, salad, apple, flat peach - fibre, calcium, 2, S

D - beef in oyster sauce with rice - 1

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 2 x hi fi bars - 6 plus 3 = 9 total
