He 'thinks' he had them in his trouser pocket when we went out yesterday and they must have fallen out somewhere??

I've no idea why he did that as he happily gave me his distance glasses for the football to carry in my bag while he was wearing his sunglasses. That man needs an equerry! 🤣

New glasses ordered in Boots today plus a spare pair in the offer and he bought a cheap pair to see him through (excuse pun) until the new ones come.

Fortunately he still has his distance glasses for driving.

No sign of your DH's? At least you know they're somewhere in the unit. Unless they've gone out with an order. 🤔🤣

    Yes, @beanielou , hopeless! 🤣

The M&S mustard is just as good as Coleman's and no swips. It's £1 a jar though so Aldi and Lidl are more mse.

interesting about the mustards…..thanks for that. I don’t use much except if I’m making a cheese and potato bake…..which I haven’t made for a long time. Hea cheese layered with potatoes, onions and either stock or 2nd hea milk, depending what else I’ve eaten that day. I used so little I didn’t count it, but nice to know it’s free these days. I served it with beans and sometimes a slice of lean bacon.

I made a roasted cauliflower dish with chicken and sumac, then cous cous packed with mushrooms, courgette, onions, tomatoes and peppers. Twas very tasty. The cauliflower was roasted in a can of LF coconut milk, spices and couple of tabs of peanut butter. I’m calling it 5 swips as a guesstimate. It made 4 portions and was worth every syn. The only other syns was a custard cream 4swips? Dd and family came around for brunch. I had heb toast with bacon, mushrooms and tomato.

I headed out on my new trike yesterday. We drove to a seaside place not far away and I cycled a couple of miles with a stop for a cuppa. It’s an electric trike but I still pedal just without too mush effort - so if I do it often enough I might loose a lb or so and also try to get into some sort of shape. I’d hoped to go out today but it’s been torrential rain for best part of the day.

    Morning all,

Sorry for being MIA. Combination of Daddy Day Care, boxing and coxing not my dog/not my cat, plus my own lurgy has kept me busy. I think I’m over the worst of it - was coughing so much I was violently sick on Friday night (sorry if TMI).

Weighed in on Friday with another STS. MY 12 week CD has ended so need a new one from Friday. Will get the book offer 🙌 In that period (actually 14 weeks as took 2 weeks as holiday) I’ve lost 8.5lbs which is pretty rubbish tbh. Still just over a stone to get to my newly set target.

I’m painting the bedroom this morning then volunteering this afternoon. BIL here tomorrow to finish off the wardrobe trims and carpet is coming on Saturday. Have been sleeping in the dining room since August so will be good to get back upstairs!

Well done @Jellybaby on your loss and @bubbs on your STS x

    Food today:

B - toasted protein bagel thin, poached egg, satsumas - fibre, P, S

    L - ham salad - P, S

    D - carbonara - free, calcium

    Calcium - milk

SWIPs - hi fi bar 3

Morning all, a much nicer day today after yesterday's horrendous rain! I've got the final load of washing out on the line. No doubt there will be more later in the week but that's it for the moment. Will also need to change the bed at sometime this week but as DH is having to lay on the bed after his op until later today this won't be happening yet! He has a follow up appointment with the eye consultant tomorrow and then off to a different hospital on Wednesday for a contrast CT scan on his Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm which was leaking it bit last year. He has to have annual checks on it. Just hoping the leak has stopped or at least not got any worse as it will be major surgery if the stents have failed.

Glad you're feeling better @Coxy11 and finally getting over the lurgy. Hope you get over the cough soon. I've had a cough for about a month and just can't shift it but at least I don't feel unwell with it.

    Today's plan:

B - Weetabix, milk, pineapple - Fibre, part Calcium, F
    L - jacket potato, tuna mayo, mixed salad, beetroot - P; S; F; 2
    D - LO beef stew - P; S; F

    Fibre - Weetabix
    Calcium - milk
    Swips - mayo 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather @Coxy11🤗 . Well done for planning a further CD. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's been very difficult doing the 'Daddy Day Care' and losing weight when it's involved taking him out for lunch so often. I know you've tried hard to make wise choices but even things like JPs and soup which we can make perfectly SW friendly at home have some swips in them when eating out.

I've been stretching the mayo with some Greek yogurt @joedenise and I don't really notice the difference especially when I make Marie Rose sauce. I think @bubbs does the same with her potato salad or it may even be all yogurt?🤔

Your trike sounds fun @milann. What does your DH do while you're riding along, does he have one too? 🤔

I saw this recipe the other day which sounds similar to your potato bake. I'll definitely be giving it a try.

I did a veggie chilli in the SC yesterday and portioned it up this morning. It made 4 meals and 2 smaller portions for me to have on a JP.👍🏼

    Today's plan-
B- porridge, blueberries, strawberries, banana (fibre, S,F)
L- LO casserole and pickled cabbage (P,S,F)
D- chicken stir fry with noodles (P,S,F)
    Swips- honey 2.5 in sauce
