You've both had a hard day. Look after yourself. 🤗

Afternoon all,
WI saw a wee half pound off. Bit disappointed but guess it’s better off than on but was hoping to make a dent in the holiday gain. Will plod on as usual 😀
We had frost this morning and I had to scrape the car which was a bit of a shock to the system! Warmed up a wee bit and sun is out which is just as well as I’ve two loads of washing on the line.
Off shortly for a mooch around the shops and see if I can pick up any ideas - and bargains - for Christmas. I’ve only got a couple more things and I think I’m done 😀
Breakfast was bacon medallions, 6 quorn chipolatas at 3 swips with mushrooms and tomatoes. Coffee with collagen at 2.5 = 5.5 swips. Only me for dinner and I’m having the last portion of pulled pork in a soft pitta with a huge salad, maybe some chips.

Afternoon all, definitely cooler this morning - the heating came on for the first time this year but didn't stay on long as it soon reached temperature. It's lovely and sunny and a bit breezy so the washing should be drying nicely.
Popped down to see my friend and borrow some thread from her as I haven't got anything to match the fabric I'm using. She has 3 drawers of different threads, a plastic unit with about 6 drawers with loads of different threads and she's got some "special" threads like multicolour, shiny etc but didn't want any of them. Managed to find one which looks as though it will be a good match so I can finish off the trousers I started before I had my thumb op. Pleased to say that's it's improving all the time although my wrists are still quite weak and get a bit painful at times. My mallet finger is going to take a long time I think. Looking on line it needs to be in the plastic covering the hospital put on for at least 8 weeks followed by the 2 fingers being strapped together for another 8 weeks! I'm currently at about 4 or 5 weeks so still a long time to go!
Well done on your 0.5lb off @Jellybaby - definitely better off than on. Keep plodding as @beanielou says.
Maintain was OK too @bubbs as it means you're still in target range. Think it might be time for more Percy Pigs to get a gain if the fish and chips didn't work!
Today's plan:
B - bacon & mushroom sandwich - Fibre, P; S; 1.5
L - HM hummus, crudities - Healthy fat; P; S; F
D - beef stew, mash, dumplings for DH - P; S; FCalcium - milk
Fibre - bread
Fat - tahini
Swips - spread 1.5; olive oil 1.5 (assuming I have 1/4 of the hummus as there's 1 Tbs in it)Have a good day everyone.
PS. Thought I'd posted earlier but just come and seen it was still here not posted! Just added the @bubbs bit!

Denise, while we were away i had 2 chicken and stuffing sausage rolls, they were yummy, f & c, a doughnut, bread every day, crisps, a big yorkshire stuffed with stew 🤣 but we never snacked and was back on it soon as i came back. i was even taking the hit with winter clothes so i may have lost half if i had still had summer dress on!
My friend lost 10lb 😱 she has lost almost 7 stone and was 10 st for Christmas, i said thats a bit ambitious 🤣but if anyone could do it she would!

Morning all, we've had rain overnight with a possibility of more this morning but it is definitely brightening up. Not as cold this morning as the heating didn't come on!
We've got 2 hours of free electric so will be washing and drying 2 loads during that time, will use the tumble dryer. Anything which isn't dry at the end of the 2 hours will go on the airer overnight to finish off.
The beef stew I made in the SC yesterday didn't cook the veg very well so we only ate a small amount of it. I left it on until I went to bed so hopefully the LOs will be cooked. Planning on having some of it Monday evening and any left over will be frozen.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - burger, onions, gherkins, lettuce, tomato in soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
D - pork chop, roast potatoes, veg - P; S; F
Fibre - soft pitta
Calcium - milk
Swips - sausages 2; burger 0.5Have a good day everyone.

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby . I know it's tiny but it's a step in the right direction!👍🏼
It sounds like you may have lost somehow last week @bubbs but swerved it with the winter clothes.🤔 Percy Pigs definitely called for.😁
My DH managed to lose his reading glasses yesterday. 🤣 He's going to order some in Boots where he'll get a spare pair half price and if they can't be done quickly enough he plans to buy a cheap, off the shelf pair to tide him over.
It's bright and dry here @joedenise and about 14 degrees. I cleared the washing basket yesterday as a fair bit of rain forecast through the week to come. What temperature does your heating kick in at ? We tend to just switch ours on/off when it feels cold but I've heard that maintaining a temperature is more efficient.🤔
Shame about the stew, hope the vegetables are cooked now.🤞🏼
We haven't taken coffee to the football yet this season as it's not been cold enough. That means we haven't taken Crunchies either so that's a few swips saved. 👍🏼
Today's plan-
B- Fry up (fibre, P,S)
L- Lentil soup and maybe small salad (P,S)
D- chicken casserole with veg (P,S,F)
Swips- cornflour 1, weekend wine☺️0 -
Our heating is set to 18 degrees but we have an Ethanol fire which we use to boost the temperature if we need to. No point in heating the whole bungalow when we can just heat the room we're sitting in!
The stew seems to be cooked now - I tried a couple of bits of the veg - must admit not particularly nice cold!
No gherkins with the burger at lunchtime - someone put an empty jar back in the cupboard and it wasn't me! Had a bit of mustard instead! Not very much so less than 0.5 Swip I would have thought but have some to spare I think.
Have been trying to finish off the shorts I started before I had my thumb done and got to the stage where I need to put the elastic through the casing and found I hadn't got the right width so have had to order some to come tomorrow! Really annoying as had hoped to finish them so I can get on and make the skirt from the same fabric.
