    Morning all,

AWOL due to another bit of family drama (I’m keeping well out of 😁). Despite the stress, I’ve kept on plan 😇

I shop in Morries as that’s where mother likes and I prefer Lidls of Aldi but do agree @bubbs they seem to have upped their offers. I got free biscuits last week which DS was delighted with.

My car needs to go back to the garage to have the tyre pressure monitoring system checked. The warning system has been beeping away since Saturday and won’t go off despite tyres being fine.

Breakfast was the usual fruit and yoghurt, I’ll taken lentil soup out of the freezer for lunch but depends how long I’m in the garage for and dinner is chicken fajitas. I’ll have a WW wrap and cheese as fibre and calcium choices.

Had a very late lunch as didn't get home from the hospital until gone 2pm, having left home at about 9am! Still at least the consultant is pleased with how DH's op went and he can now drive again, so he drove home.

Also popped into the GP surgery to make an appointment for a COPD review and pick up a blood test form which I'll try and get done tomorrow after DH's scan. Can't get an appointment with the COPD nurse until mid November! DH also rearranged his RSV jab which was supposed to be yesterday but of course he needed to be laying flat until mid afternoon so he'd cancelled that. As it turns out he could have gone and had it but never mind he'll get it in a couple of week's time instead.

Sounds like a sensor problem @Jellybaby which probably just needs a clean! Hopefully it's nothing more.

I made too much fajita mix so I'm freezing the LOs and will use it to make fajita pasta for lunch one day.

Hope it's something easily sorted with your car @Jellybaby and well done on sticking to plan and keeping out of the latest drama.👍🏼

That's good news about Joe's surgery @joedenise and I'm sure he's delighted that he's OK to drive again.

It's been wet and miserable here today but I did get out for a short walk and coffee with friends this morning. Coats definitely back on here!☔ I also wore jeans for the first time in months as I've been wearing cargo trousers with elasticated waist or leggings lately. They were size 12 but decidedly snug. Definitely need to keep seriously plodding!

DH is out this evening and I'm going dancing before he gets back so it's egg and chips for me! Yum!😋

    Today's plan-
B- toast, eggs, bacon, baked beans (fibre, P,F), milk for drinks (calcium)
    L- LOs as yesterday (P,S,F)
    D- egg (P), chips (F), asparagus and tomatoes (S)
    Swips- none planned

Sorry to hear of family drama and car woes 🙁

I had a day out with DDad today to Ightham Mote. Food was meh - on plan breakfast and tea. Lunch was a cheese scone at 11am as DDad hadn’t eaten so wanted a sandwich. A good day out despite the awful fine drizzle.

My cousin and his wife are coming tomorrow and staying locally which means A WHOLE DAY OFF FROM DADDY DAY CARE ON THURSDAY WHOOP! Also means I can go to group and stay for the first time in weeks on Friday.

Afternoon all, it's very quiet on here today! The rain has finally stopped but it's still very windy.

DH had his scan this morning and I went and had my blood test on the way home so that's out of the way for now.

Enjoy your day off tomorrow @Coxy11 and hope your WI on Friday is a good one. Are you planning on staying?

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - leek and potato soup, muffin - Fibre; S; F
    D - mushroom stroganoff, pasta - Calcium; S; F

    Fibre - muffin
Calcium - milk; Seriously Strong cheddar Light
    Swips - none planned

Bit mushroomy today but they need using!

    Have a good day everyone.

Glad to hear you got (yet more!) appointments sorted @joedenise .👍

Good news that you have your re-booked appointment @bubbs .

It's turned out really nice here today after a grey start and at least some of tomorrow looks fine for your 'day off' tomorrow @Coxy11 .😁

I love mushrooms so would happily eat them for two meals. 😋

    Today's plan -

B-fry up (fibre, P, S), milk for drinks (calcium #1)

    L- JP, prawns, salad (F, P, S)

    D- bacon and broccoli pasta (P, F, S), Parmesan (calcium #2)

    Swips - LTL mayo 1

    Afternoon all 😁

    Thanks everyone regarding appointment.

Been absolutely lashing it down here! Think it has finally stopped but forecast is not good for next few days, but hey ho we need the rain , as long as it is the right sort!🤣

I must be falling in love with slow cooker unless its just a blip 🤣 beef stew all prepped ready for tomorrow.

    Lunch today was free

Tea is , gammon, chips, mushrooms, peas, egg and pineapple 1 sv ( i think i will check)grilled tom

I have a question, tinned pineapple is swips so if i also cooked it would it be more swips?
