There's a SC gravy recipe on the TamingTwins website as well @maman that I think could be adapted to be SW friendly - eg substituting wine stock pot for wine; leave out the soy sauce and add a bit of salt instead so it's not too dark and maybe some sweetener rather than cranberry sauce! At least that way you can just chuck it in the SC and leave it so no faffing about!

Morning all, the wind and rain are here and have been since about 9pm last night! We are not going out until Sunday as tomorrow looks just as bad with the 2nd storm arriving! Stay safe everyone especially if you have a reason for going out in this horrible weather.
Sorry @Coxy11 meant to say that's a real pain about the wardrobe fittings not fitting or missing. Hope you can get it sorted easily. You really didn't get your day off, did you? Unbelievable that the bag didn't even have a bottle of wine in it and just their slippers!
Would normally have gone shopping yesterday but decided nothing was particularly necessary so will be leaving it until we go out on Sunday to pick up the SC. Will probably do the shopping in Asda again as that's where we'll be. I can make do with what we have in the pantry/fridge/freezer although would have been better if I'd got a couple more eggs but it's doable.
I weighed this morning am pleased to say that I have lost just under lb this week (0.9lb). If I can manage this every week until my holiday I'll actually be back into top end of target (after almost 2 years of being out of it!). Going to try my best but suspect that lb a week isn't feasible for me - more like 0.5lb a week!
We've decided it is cold enough to change to winter bedding so that will be happening today. The bed is stripped but won't be washed and dried until Sunday when we've got 2 hours of free electric. Will also get any other washing done and hopefully dried during that time too.
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix, milk, mixed frozen berries - Fibre; part Calcium; S
L - bacon & onion crustless quiche, chips, beans - part Calcium; P; S; F
D - fish pie, peas - P; S; F; 8Fibre - Weetabix
Calcium - milk, cheese
Swips - ready made béchamel sauce 8 (worked out using the 20 cal = 1 swip) - bought while we were in France - worked out the whole box is 20 swips and I'll be having less than half as DH always has more than me when I dish up!Have a good day everyone.

Morning all
Well done on your loss @joedenise - yes the weather is awful isn't it? Our lane always floods outside our house too :( No DDad today as he's out in Faversham with cousin then being dropped back to DSis house.
Have been to class and delighted with 0.5lb off which was totally unexpected. This comes after two consecutive STS and a +1lb so I'm not quite back to my lowest but getting there. I'm 0.5lb above a front number I want gone, so will be hoping for at least 1lb next week. I stayed to class for the first time in weeks which has also helped motivate me plus bought a 6 week CD and a pack of the new cheese bites. At £1.90 a pack they will be an occasional treat.
I popped to Asda afterwards for fuel as car was running on fumes and also grabbed some groceries. Picked up some Heck Italian chicken chipolatas on YS as they are only 0.5 SWIPs each. Might use them in a pasta dish tomorrow.
Food today:
B - banana, SW blueberry pancake, blueberries, Mullerlight - free, fibre, S, 0.5
L - ham, lo veg cous cous, mixed salad, satsuma, apple - P, 0.5, S
D - breaded cod fillet, AF chips, peas - 7.5, free
Calcium - 350ml skimmed milk
Fibre #2 - 2 hi fi bars

Well done on your loss @joedenise .👍🏼
I can completely empathise about being out of range. Fortunately, we've not let it get out of hand like those group members, we've all met, who let all the weight pile back on but it is frustrating trying to shift those extra few pounds. Life has a habit of getting in the way!🤔🤣
It's calmed down a bit here now but we've had all the wind and rain too. I think the South is particularly hard hit by Storm Austen. We have to go out tomorrow but, like you, Sunday looks to the best day for doing the laundry.
Tomorrow, I'm going to a birthday do involving a champagne tea. I'll have a decent lunch before I go but it won't be easy to avoid swip laden foods. To try to offset it, I'm going to have an alcohol free Friday. We're also out for dinner during the week too but I'll just do my best in between.
We're having chicken tonight. I've taken thighs out to defrost but not sure how we'll have them yet. Lately I've been happy to just rub them with spices rather than do the full KFC.
Today's plan-
B- scrambled eggs on toast (fibre, P), milk for drinks (calcium)
L- ham (P), Veg hash (F,S), pickles (S)
D- chicken (P), SW chips (F), veg to be decided (S)
Swips- maybe a couple of squares of chocolate? 3?0 -
Well done @Coxy11 on your loss. I think that's pretty good considering how much eating out you've had to do whilst taking your DDad out and about. It can be really difficult. I don't know about you but I get fed up with keep having jacket potatoes!
I marinaded the chicken in jerk seasoning and some lemon juice yesterday @maman before frying them off in a pan. Very tasty they were too - although hotter than when I make my own jerk seasoning but bought a fairly big jar when we were away in the motorhome at Salisbury earlier this year.
I have to agree @maman that life, well holidays for me, get in the way of losing weight but although I'm still out of range I'm glad to have got to the same front number as it was when I was there rather than above it which is was for a time!

Sorry, I missed your post @Coxy11 .Well done on getting a loss, very motivating. 👍
I saw the cheese bites advertised online. Are they free or do they use HEXs? 🤔
Thanks for the tip for the chicken @joedenise .I've got some jerk seasoning so will give it a try sometime.
Rain has stopped but the wind is wild out there. ☹️

The wind has eased off now and it's not much more than rain in the air. The wind has also calmed down and is now just a light breeze.
I find adding some lemon juice (or even just a bit of water) to the dried spice makes it easier to coat the chicken. I use lemon juice as it helps to tenderise the meat.
Not surprised the cheese bites will be an occasional treat @Coxy11 - they are so expensive - don't think I'll bother as I'm not a crisp lover anyway.

Afternoon all 😁
Sorry didn't get here yesterday, crazy busy! Can't complain 🤣
Well done Denise and Coxy on your losses 👏
We are getting battered now as well, the rain last night and through the night was horrendous !
Maman they are a calcium choice. They are really cheesey we had a taste at group last week, they are really crunchy, i wouldn't say like a crisp.
Still not made the pineapple upside down pudding! It's in the fridge at the moment.
Wish i didn't have to go out tomorrow, but hey ho i'll get my big coat out 🤣
We had stew last night was lovely.
I had the left over portion for lunch 1 sv. Fake kfc for tea
