Morning all but only just! It's a gorgeous day again with lots of lovely sunshine. It feels warmer today than yesterday as there isn't the wind. I have the bedding out on the line but it definitely isn't drying as quickly as the washing did yesterday but I'm sure it will dry this afternoon.
I've got a Ninja Megadrawer air fryer which I wouldn't recommend. Don't know anyone with an Actifry Multi Cooker @bubbs. My DD2 has the Ninja 11 in 1 and says it's really good although she hasn't tried it for all the functions. Hasn't tried the pressure cooker on it yet and says she probably won't but does use the SC function quite a bit.
Enjoy the car shopping @Coxy11! Do you know what you actually want or are you just looking at various makes? Don't blame you giving the allotment a miss with a delivery going on!
Had my waxing appointment this morning and popped into Tesco for my friend as she needed some milk but at least I didn't need anything from there. Did pop into the farm shop as wanted just a few mushrooms for lunch today and DH used them all up at the weekend not realising I would need some today. Still at least it was only 32p!
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - Fibre, Calcium, S
L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
D - chicken and cannellini bean tagine, herby jewelled couscous - P; S; FCalcium - cheese, milk
Fibre - bread
Swips - none plannedHave a good day everyone.

Afternoon all 😁
I have bought one Coxy, used it last night for my chicken, my actifry broke i had it years, i have a dual drawer air fryer as well but don't do chips as nice and this multi cooker was £100 less but also has a paddle for chips!
Good luck car shopping.
Denise, it is a lovely day but was so cold this morning, we was out early as went company shop and the rounds,
Usual suspects
Chicken breast 475g £2.75
1kg chicken thighs £2
Got some pakats naan for dh 40p for twin pack.
Yoghurt 90p, bit dear for there but cheaper than lidl 🤣
Anyone near Morrisons they have some fantastic bargains, i got a 6l slow cooker reduced to £7.50 from £25 for my friend, throws £1.35, duvet sets from about £4 for doubles

We are home from car shopping. Now for some research. GC visit netted us some crocus and tete a tete for 50p and primroses for 25p in the sale. These will be used to fill some gaps. Also got compost and 5 new bird feeders as we found our feeding station in the garage last week. Lucky birds will eat better than us!!
Those are great bargains at Morrisons @bubbs xCross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2026 founding member 😊 Read 26 books in 2026 8/26 Currently reading Raven Black by Ann Cleeves0 -
Glorious day here again. ❤️🌞 We got out for a walk this morning and stopped for a coffee. Did you manage to get a JP or anything SW friendly when you were out @Coxy11 ?🤔
You always seem to be lucky getting chicken thighs at the Company Shop @bubbs . Like you, I always check their prices against Aldi. Not everything there is a bargain.
It's useful that you were able to buy just a few mushrooms at the farm shop @joedenise . I often buy loose carrots and onions in Sainsbury's if I know I won't use a bagful. The bonus is that the prices are matched to Aldi.
DH is out this evening so we won't be having dinner together. The planned freezer curry can wait until tomorrow. That means I'm on my own and can have my favourite!!😋😋😋😋
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- LO hotpot, veg and pickles, as yesterday (P,S,F)
D- eggs (P), SW chips (F), tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, beetroot (S)
Swips- 00 -
@maman we visited M&S whose menu (on the wall) had toasties or soup. I went for harissa bean soup which came with a ciabatta or GF roll. No WM alternative. Only when we’d sat down did DH mention an A4 menu by the till which featured JP’s! ☹️ Oh well!

Forgot to say boneless leg of pork on offer in Asda £3.76 kg, i bought 2 joints for £6 each and chopped them in half, cheap dinner!
Oh i bought these boiled eggs in CS , 25p pack of 2, cheaper than me buying eggs and boiling them 🤣 shame there was only 3 packs left
Food today
Lunch part fibre
Tea, 4 sv for gravy

good evening, such a busy day in work! I work 8-6 and should have a 30 min break but not today, just had 5 mins. I had taken salad and beetroot with me, thought I had cottage cheese to take but didn’t. So the plan was to pop up to the canteen and get some boiled eggs or tuna, that didn’t happen so I just had salad and a tangerine. OH had made sausage, mash, gravy and lots of veggies for dinner, yum.
Sitting down now with a cuppa 😊 and reading what I’ve missed

Morning all, weather not so good at the moment, it's a bit misty but that was forecast but should be another good day once that goes.
I've got my hairdresser coming this morning to at least my hair will be tidier than it is at the moment! She comes every 6 weeks or thereabouts depending on when my holidays are! I always like to get it cut just before we go.
It's the final day before we go so I weighed this morning and have put on lb so back to where I was a couple of weeks ago! Am going to try to eat sensibly with lots of lean meat, fish, salad, veg etc so that the ice cream and alcohol don't do as much damage and I can come back with no more than about 3lb gain - after all it's only a week this time!
Today's plan:
B - porridge, frozen mixed berries - Fibre; S
L - fajita pasta - P; S; F; 3
D - lamb stew, mash, veg - P; S; FCalcium - milk
Fibre - oats
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 3Have a good day everyone.
