@Glad we're going to Agadir in Morocco for a week. We've never had a problem taking food through passport control before so hopefully won't this time. Food on the plane is just so expensive, especially on top of paying for an AI holiday!

Hi all, still running about after family but managed a day in the garden yesterday! It was lovely sunshine but still very cold but so glad to be out in fresh air pottering and slept really well last night. Need more days like that on a regular basis 😀

WI this morning and it was an expected one pound gain. In all honesty, I’m delighted it’s only a pound! I plan to be in more control next week and keep the feeders in my life at bay.

I’m having homemade burgers with all the trimmings, salad and wedges for dinner. This meal is turning into a firm Saturday night favourite.

Hope you are all well. I’m planning to catch up on posts tonight with a soda and lime.

A lovely bright day here, so a nice dog walk in the local NT park after weigh in. Then a bit of shopping and more work on the stairs.

B - usual overnight oats, blueberries and 0% greek yoghurt, HE fibre

L - 3 Ryvita thins, cottage cheese and salad, 6 swips

D - SW baked vegetable frittata with SW salt and pepper chips, I'm not sure why they're called that as they have pepper, onion and chilli on? All free plus olive oil as HE healthy fats

In between - milk for drinks HE calcium, apple and 2 tangerines

The frittata was really nice even though I was wondering about the macaroni in it 😁 and there's half left for lunch tomorrow

Well done on your loss @Glad .Don't be disappointed about 'just' a pound. It's quite normal as your body gets used to healthy eating.

I thought your dinner looked good but the plate looks a bit empty. Personally, I'd have filled it with some salad and a bigger portion of chips! 🤣

I can understand why you're pleased with a very small gain @Jellybaby after the weeks you've had with the family. How do you make your burgers? What, if anything, do you add to the mince? 🤔

Yes @Coxy11 , I thought garlic bread was an odd addition. I'd have been happy to pay for the JP but having it as a free substitute was a bonus. 👍

I know you don't need much shopping at the moment @joedenise but Morrison's seem to be fighting back. They've got their version of Super 6 on veg and some good meat offers. I wish our one and only Morrison's was a bit closer.

It's been a glorious day here, warm and sunny. I've had a lovely time. DD1 and I went to a matinee at a local theatre.

    Today's plan

B HEB toast, scrambled eggs and ham (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks

    L- ham (P), bubble and squeak (F, S), pickles and leaves (S)

D salmon (P), SW chips (F), green beans, broccoli, mushrooms and tomatoes

    Swips - weekend wine 😊

    ONE more sleep @bubbs !👏👏👏

    Thanks for all the support

Glad ,my L hip was replaced in 2024 due to osteoarthritis, now my R hip seems to be going too .The NSAIDs used to really help ,but since the heart probs and stent I’m not allowed to take them .So it’s paracetamol only at the moment ,have some slow release morphine but won’t take for this hip unless I’ve seen a dr first .

beanie ,will you get a replacement soon ,it was a life changer and for 15 months all was great

Went to physio and mine was off unexpectedly ( car probs ,) ! the one I saw was lovely ,but was obviously expecting me to say I was fine ,so was taken aback when he asked and I said b awful and told him !
he recovered well and really tried to help ,but was v new ,said he’d contact my one and get back to me

Did he heck ! Will give them Monday and then ring again .

Shopped etc done minimal housework, DD and DGS4(14) popped in this afternoon and also made the mistake in asking too .Am turning into the original grumpy old woman .

Have been on plan but not wonderful today .
Will weigh tomorrow ,think I might rejoin on Tuesday ,even if I only go once and get the books .

Thank you all for the support Glad,it really has helped as I was v nearly at the end of my tether

    Thank you all

Morning all, it was an early one this morning as was up about 5.30! Fell asleep early last night about 9.30, probably because had a glass or 3 even though I'd planned on a low swip day! Never mind - think DH is already in holiday mode! You'll never believe it but he's looking at holidays for next year already!!!! I've told him to forget it at the moment as I need to do some serious saving for holidays next year!

Have put a load of washing on but not sure whether it's worth hanging out as DH says the air feels really damp but I'll go and check myself before I put it in the dryer!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - bacon & mushroom sandwich, pickles - Fibre, P; S; 1.5
    D - roast pork dinner - P; S; F; 1.5

    Calcium - milk in drinks
    Fibre - bread
    Swips - sausages 2; apple sauce 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Love it! I’m with your DH in looking ahead @joedenise 😀 I’m hoping for a big holiday next year but flights haven’t been released yet for the dates I want.

Enjoy reuniting with your ice-cream maker @bubbs

I go to group @Suffolksue as I need the accountability and I stay for the chat but I get more help and support here 🥰

I’ve had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and think it’ll be the last of the tomato and red pepper soup from the freezer for lunch with a toasted soft pitta. Dinner is chicken and leek tagliatelle.

    Have a good Sunday everyone.
