Morning all, was a bit grey first thing but now it's bright and breezy. DH has hung the last of the washing out from the washing basket. There was a lot in the basket before we went away for the weekend which is why there were 3 loads with what we wore at the weekend! The bedding from the motorhome plus our bedding still needs to be done this week as it's only about 10 days until we go to France! Can't believe how quickly that's come round.

Hope the volunteering goes well @Coxy11 today. The food at your friends sounds really nice.

Will look out for the seeded bread when I go shopping as think DH would be happier with that rather than the normal wholemeal.

    Today's plan:

    B - weetabix, milk, fruit - Fibre; part Calcium; S; F
    L - sweet chilli noodles - S; F; 3
D - sticky glazed chicken, rice, green beans - P; S; F; 2.5 (new recipe for us - fortunately I've written instructions on the bag for DH to follow!)

    Fibre - weetabix
    Calcium - milk
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 5.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi all. Blimey it’s gone cold. It’s the first time since May that I’ve needed my fleece for work.

I have weighed in this morning with a 0.4kg loss. Yay. No weigh in next week as it’s the bank holiday and I’m off all week (can’t wait, ready for some down time) When I get back I’ll have 4 weigh ins until we go on holiday so I can get any gain despatched quickly and aim for bottom of target again.

Hope the volunteer session goes well and well done to all the losers.

We are having a sweet potato hash tonight with pork loin chops. Might even have a bit of hoisin sauce on the side (swips)

Lunch was my usual salad - with chicken today - and breakfast was yog and fruit.

I have cheese and crackers as a late afternoon snack as we won’t be having out meal until 7ish.

Well done on your loss @Matron_Midge .👍🏼That's a good plan to manage any gains and get back to the bottom of range. That's the perfect place to be.😁

It was cooler here first thing but has since brightened up into another lovely day. I did a machine load @joedenise and it was all dried and put away in a couple of hours. I did it because we were originally promised rain for tomorrow but now it seems to have shifted to Thursday. 🤔

We've been gifted some apple cider cake from Hereford which comes highly recommended so may have a small slice later. It would be rude not to. 😉

Hope your volunteering went well @Coxy11 .

I've put Bolognese sauce in the SC and made up some rice pouches for the freezer. I need to do another inventory as it's looking a bit of a mess and I really like to know exactly what I've got in there.

    Today's plan-
B- toast, eggs, bacon, baked beans (fibre, P,F), milk for drinks (calcium)
    L- cold meat (P), LO veg (F,S), pickles (S)
D- chilli con carne with rice (P,S,F), cottage cheese (P)
    Swips- cake?🤔

Morning all, lovely day here too @Coxy11. Great drying day as it's quite breezy - DH has got the bedding from the motorhome and what has just finished so he's hanging it out now.

Need to go shopping as out of eggs once again and have scrambled eggs planned for breakfast tomorrow!

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge, mixed frozen berries - Fibre; S
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - Fibre, Calcium, S
    D - liver, bacon, onions, mash - P; S; F

    Fibre - porridge, bread
    Calcium - cheese
Swips - milk in drinks 6 (probably not that many but it's what it would be as Calcium choice!)

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all
popped in to say hello, I went to WI saturday and down another 1lb, so now 2lb under target, I've been eating what I want when out and about and sticking to SW on other days, especially work days when it is easy to eat salad and fruit all day as that's all I bring in 😊

Another chance to pick some fresh produce @Coxy11 . I bet it tastes much better than the supermarket version and very mse.👍🏼Hope the headache clears, you seem to have had a few lately.🤗

Bedding out on the line here too @joedenise. Normally I'd leave it until the weekend but I think the weather is about to break. Guaranteed line drying has definitely been a big positive of the hot summer.❤️🌞

I portioned up the Bolognese I made yesterday so that's 4 meals for the freezer and a small portion for my lunch.

I had a slice of the cider cake yesterday afternoon and it was delicious, moist and spicy. I'm sure DH will eat most of what's left but I'm definitely going to have at least one more slice. I know I'd lose weight faster if I stuck to plan 100% but cake is a rare treat for me and I do behave most of the time. 🤔🤣

DH is sorting out the shelving in my larder today. Since it was built, we've had a temporary arrangement (recycled units from the old kitchen) as I wanted to get a feel for where I wanted everything to go and all the different shapes and sizes of things to be stored. I'm sure I'll still be moving things around for a while but It's a start.

Next on the list is to sort out the airing cupboard as I want it to be wide and shallow IYSWIM instead of the more boxy shape it is now. That'll mean turfing everything out and finding temporary homes for things while he does it (just like the larder) but it'll be good when it's done. Not holding my breath though as we're great procrastinators! 🤣

    Today's plan-
B- toast, eggs, bacon, tomatoes (fibre, P,S), milk for drinks (calcium)
    L- JP (F), Bolognese sauce (P,S) salad (S)
    D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), many vegetables (S)
    Swips- tbc

    Well done @Glad xx

That cider cake sounds divine @maman ! Good to have something nice every so often.

I harvested two lettuces - lollo Rosso and curly plus runner beans, French beans, red and brown onions and shallots. Also bought back another courgette! I plan to make a soup with the ones from last week and today’s one will go with the aubergine and make a ratatouille.

I have no car until Friday as DH took ours and his little runabout is a bit temperamental. Might take myself off on the train somewhere on Thursday. Possibly Herne Bay 😊

    thanks @Coxy11
I'd love an allotment, or even a small area to grow some at home, mum does supply with some of hers though, and we have a pop up farm shop close by. I love raw courgette in salads, much nicer than cucumber 😊
