Well done @beanielou on your STS x

Some great bargains there @bubbs 👍

@maman I made an error it was Mo’s mushroom and bacon tagliatelle so I only used stock and one tub of the cheese as only DS2 and I. It was lush.

Well I’m a bit stiff tonight as BIL and I moved 2 x tonne bags of type one plus we dug up a 8’ square of lawn and 6”’down of earth to level off. I was wheelbarrow queen taking the turfs to the old compost heap and distributing the earth around the garden. So humid too, we were sweating cobs. I had the marrow soup - it’s amazing but has after effects 💨

Plasterer coming tomorrow so the kettle will be doing overtime!

Morning all, we were in a yellow weather warning until 8am today but nothing and then 10 minutes later the heavens have opened! Still at least it means no watering tonight!!!

That was a lot of body magic @Coxy11 - rather you than me but of course at the moment I wouldn't be able to do anything like that anyway!

Well done on. your STS @beanielou and good that you are happy where you are.

Don't work too hard @bubbs. You got some great bargains at CS. I so wish we had one near me. We don't have any bargain shops nearby other than Home Bargains, B&M and Poundland and none of those are particularly bargainous.

    Today's plan:

    B - coconut baked oats, fruit, Greek. yoghurt - Fibre, P; S; 2.5
    L - Welsh rarebit, pickles - Fibre, Calcium, P; S
    D - SW beef curry, rice - P; S; F

    Fibre - oats; bread
    Calcium - cheese
Swips - desiccated coconut 2.5; milk in drinks 6

Weigh day tomorrow (last before holiday!) and really not expecting a loss as haven't managed to keep Swips as low as I wanted but we'll see in the morning.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning,

Yes very wet here @joedenise I popped to the wheelie bin earlier and made sure to cover over the paper bags of cement that were delivered yesterday! BIL has just arrived. He needs to compact the type one we spread yesterday and was hoping to start laying the patio. He only has tomorrow then off on holiday on Monday. The plasterer is also here and is doing our bedroom ceiling so I'm still on tea-making duty.

    Food today:

    B - spinach omelette, satsuma - P, S

L - WM roll, cheddar, red onion, apple - fibre, calcium, S

D - sausage hotpot using A!di rosemary and red onion sausages, mixed beans, sweet potato, baked beans, chopped tomatoes, red onions and stock, green beans - free, S

    Calcium - skimmed milk

SWIPs - to be decided - getting a bit fed up of hi fi bars!

@bubbs - We leave on Wednesday next week on the 10am ferry from Dover. Just hoping it's not rough! Think I should have booked the ferry for our June holiday and train for this one but of course I did it the other way round!

Thank you for the lovely food photos and a very Happy Birthday @beanielou !I don't think you'll be getting STS next week! 🤣

We had rain overnight but it's been a mix of humid and sunny all day. Garden is certainly looking fresher after a good drink of rain water.

You'll have to learn to pace yourself with all the pain you've been in @bubbs . Where did you get the curry paste for yesterday's dinner? 🤔

    Fortunately, it's only a short crossing from Dover @joedenise .🤞 it's a calm one.

Hope you made good progress on the patio @Coxy11 before BIL goes on holiday. What else would you fancy as a snack instead of HiFi bars? 🤔

We had an hour's walk this morning, took an umbrella but didn't need it. 👍

For lunch, I made up a pasta sauce using LO roasted veg with some extra mushrooms, spring onions, ham and some Seriously Strong cheese.

    Today's plan -

B- toast, scrambled eggs (fibre, P), milk for drinks (calcium 1)

    L- roasted veg pasta (P, S, F, calcium 2)

D- sausage, mash LO gravy (F), lots of veg (S)

    Swips - BGTY sausages 3?

Happy birthday @beanielou. Glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea. Maybe with a bit of damage limitation you could end up with another STS or just a small gain!

The roasted veg pasta sounds nice @maman.
