Well done on your STS yesterday @bubbs . Just right to stop you falling out of target!👍🏼
You did well to keep your food under control with visitors @Jellybaby . Have they gone now?🤔
I'm sure you and Joe enjoyed your lunch out @joedenise despite the high prices. It's good to have a treat now and again. The Italian we go to for special occasions is similarly expensive. Main courses alone for our anniversary were £33 each!😮 The restaurant is called Ennio's and it's directly opposite the Red Funnel ferry terminal in case you're interested @bubbs .🤣
You're right that many people don't count swips on WI day @Coxy11 . I remember giving a lift to a friend's little boy and he said 'You can park here, it's where mum always parks when we go to the chip shop after fat club!'.😁
I didn't get to post yesterday but stayed on plan. Football was amazing and another week where we didn't bother with coffee or Crunchie! So a win/win!👍🏼
The downside was I wore trousers for the first time in a couple of months. Fortunately they had an elasticated waist and I needed it. ☹️ I'm going to have to be stricter with myself to start losing rather than just drifting along just over the top of target.
We don't have free electricity @joedenise but it is half price between 11 and 4pm on Sundays. No washing needed here but I have got curry in the SC, the dishwasher's on, and tonight's casserole in the oven.
Today's plan-
B- Fry up (fibre, P,F), milk for drinks (calcium)
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- chicken casserole with greens (P,S,F)
swips- LTL mayo1, cornflour 1.5?, weekend wine0 -
Evening all 😁
Thanks everyone .
Maman, we wouldn't go there as apart from pizza that's the only form of Italian DH eats 🤣 well i don't eat pasta either 🤣
I put the washing out, or rather i was putting the washing out and these homogonous black clouds come over, so i just hung out 3 linen tops and put the others on hangers to dry, but guess what? It never bloody rained 🤣🤣
Lunch free.
Tea, roast pork, wasn't very nice really, cauli cheese 3 sv , 1/2 fibre and 1/4 calcium

Afternoon all, it was bright and breezy this morning but has now started to cloud over; still very breezy though. Rain is forecast for this afternoon but the clouds don't look like rain clouds.
Shame your dinner wasn't as nice as usual. What was the problem with it?
Hadn't got anything for lunch today so nipped out to buy a pepper and onions (as had run out completely!) and we're going to have halloumi fajitas for lunch tomorrow as I've got some halloumi in the fridge which really ought to be eaten as it's been there for quite while.
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix; milk - Fibre; 3
L - ham salad sandwich - Fibre; P; S; 1.5
D - sweet and sour chicken, rice - P; S; FFibre - weetabix, bread
Calcium - milk
Swips - extra milk 3; LF spread 1.5Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all 😁
I put towels out this morning and it came over as black as the ace of spades about 11.30 so i got them in and they were dry, but had the bedding to put out and didn't because we did have a quick shower, they brightened up again, then we have had a couple of more showers but lovely now. It's on the airer near the door, i did put the airer outside but the wind blew it over 🙄
Denise, it was the pork, think because it was shoulder and not loin.
I made a pork pie today and a crumble for dh.
Lunch was half fibre, part calcium and 1.5 sv onion chutney.
We are having gammon, pineapple, egg, mushrooms, peas and chips for tea.
BARGAIN ALERT
Morrisons If you have a more card, apples, satsumas and conference pears 5p!!!! I will be going either tomorrow or weds 😁😁😁

Pork shoulder needs slow cooking @bubbs as it can be quite tough if it's roasted. I only ever use shoulder to make pulled pork and don't do that very often because it makes so much I end up with loads in the freezer!
Never saw that when we went there this morning but being honest I didn't really look because all I wanted was some onions and a pepper so just went to where they were!

I did it slow in the oven, yes i usually use for pulled pork and think that's what i bought it for, but didn't want chicken again yesterday, dh doesn't eat lamb and that's what was in the freezer, won't do it again 🤣
I have to take the car in tomorrow and back at orthopaedic clinic Weds , there is one near both so will see what day i go

Shame about your pork @bubbs . I almost always use shoulder, roast on low for about 2 hours but you can always get a duff piece.😒
Those are great prices but as it's a bit of a trek to our Morrison's and as I don't eat that much fruit then I won't bother. Now if it was veg!!😁
I chanced putting the washing out and despite a very few drops of rain earlier it's all dried.👍🏼
I had enough casserole and veg left for today and tomorrow's lunch for me. Not that much chicken in it but this recipe has butter beans and they have protein don't they ?🤔
I portioned up the chicken curry and there's enough for tonight's dinner and 2 more meals in the freezer.
Today's plan-
B- porridge, banana, blueberries and strawberries (fibre, S,F), milk for drinks (calcium)
L- LO casserole with pickled cabbage (P,S,F)
D- chicken curry and rice (P,S,F)
Swips- none planned0 -
Maman i put it on about 1.45 number 3 before my sister came , luckily she wasn't staying for tea or i'd of been embarrassed! and we ate about 5.30.
My bedding i put on the airer near the door is almost dry, just the flat sheet that's not but it''s thick King size , so it's folded over but i have turned it . Will be dry by the morning 😁
Gammon for tea, no egg for me as 1 was a disaster 🙈not having much luck am i? 🤣 so gave dh the good one.

We had thunderstorms overnight which woke me up. Went to the annual village fete this afternoon which luckily was blessed with good weather. We had some hm soup before we left but I did have a small glass of wine and a piece of apple cake whilst there. Just made sticky pork stir fry despite DH and DD angling for a takeaway 💪
Sorry about the pork and egg @bubbs very annoying! X

Morning all, another bright day and hardly any breeze this morning; due to cloud over later. Just been sat in the garden having a coffee and it's actually a bit too warm to just sit there so I've come in for a while to cool down a bit!
Today's plan:
B - bacon sandwich - Fibre; P; 1.5
L - halloumi fajitas - Fibre; Calcium; S
D - fish pie - P; F; 4Fibre - bread; wrap
Calcium - halloumi
Swips - LF spread 1.5; cheese sauce mix 4; milk for tea 3Have a good day everyone and I'll "see" you again at the end of the month.
Will try and read while I'm away but depends on wifi signal where we are as can be a bit hit and miss!
