Afternoon all, just had a quick read back but haven’t retained much 🙈. I’ve been running back and forth to parents every day. Someone asked if visitors have gone and yes, left Monday morning. I did try to go with them but my brother was having none of it 🤣🤣🤣

I’m thinking through the pros and cons for changing my WI day/class. Saturday morning usually works out fine but after missing last week’s class and potentially this week due to a night out I’m thinking Friday might be the better option going forward. I’ll ponder over it.

I’ve stayed off the alcohol which is just as well as it’s been treat after treat. I’m blaming my brother! I’ll be very happy with a STS then three weeks to knuckle down and shift some pounds before holiday 🤣🤣

You're going to be busy with a greenhouse and the community allotment @Coxy11 . Well done for warding off the take away yesterday evening, very mse and I'm sure much more SW friendly for you.👍🏼

I think Friday would be the perfect day for a WI @Jellybaby. I'd have gone to one myself but the members were so rude talking over the consultant that I could only ever manage weigh and go. I think my choices are influenced by having most of my swips at weekends. For example, I'd absolutely hate a Monday!😮

It's bright, warm and sunny here too @joedenise . I went for a walk this morning and sat out for coffee afterwards and it was delightful. Do keep in touch when you can when you're away. I love to hear where you're stopping. Bonnes Vacances!

I was quite peckish last night after dinner which is unusual for me. I had 2 Ryvita Crackerbreads with ham and tomatoes on. I think they're 1 swip each?🤔

    Today's plan-
B- toast, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes (fibre, P,S), milk for drinks (calcium)
L- LO casserole and pickles (P,S,F)
D- haddock (P), hassleback potatoes (F), veg to be decided (S)
    Swips- none planned

    As long as that’s not Percy 🐽 @bubbs 🤣

    Morning!

I’m meeting an old friend for lunch today at a craft centre near home. I’ve looked at the menu - they seem to do smashed things on toast, frittata or a chicken salad. Will probably go for the salad, will see when I get there.

    Food today:

    B - 40g malted wheats, mullerlight vanilla, blueberries/strawberries - fibre, 1, S

    L - tbc

D - SW Italian meatballs, spaghetti, hm tomato sauce - free, S

    Calcium - 350ml skimmed milk

    Calcium #2 - Parmesan

SWIPs - hi fi bar 3 plus 1 so 4 total

Thanks for confirming the Crackerbread is just the one swip each @Coxy11 . Last night's snack was just a sliver of cheese wrapped in ham. Why is it we sometimes want to eat something when we're not really hungry??🤔

Hope you manage to get something SW friendly at the craft centre.🤞🏼

Sorry to hear that your car is costing you again @bubbs.☹️ Was that another curry using the new paste?🤔

I need to make some more HM tomato sauce as I've used the last portion. I've taken to buying those large jars of passata which make a few portions at a time. I'm also down to my last portion of meatballs so will make more at the weekend.

We're off to Ikea later, fortunately after lunch. DD1 wants to buy a new mattress and my car is bigger to bring it back.

    Today's plan-
B- scrambled eggs on toast (fibre, P), milk for drinks (calcium1)
L- lentil soup (P,S) and possibly a small salad if I'm hungry
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), Parmesan (calcium2)
    Swips- none planned

Hi all, I’m reading @bubbs - we arrived in France about 1.15 (12.15 UK time). We’re staying in a little village called Gravelines tonight. No idea where we’ll end up tomorrow though.

Gravelines is quite a famous place @joedenise because of Francis Drake and the Spanish Armada.

Interestingly, I had an email from Slimming World offering me free membership if I want to rejoin. 🤔
