Another lovely day here, 23 degrees and sunny and no rain forecast until Friday.👍🏼
Today's dinner is in the oven and meatballs will be in later. I think it's well worth putting in a few hours to do batch cooking as it's so useful when I have to make a meal in a hurry. At the moment I've got meatballs, Bolognese, curry and tomato sauce but I'll need to buy more meat to make savoury mince. I could do a chunky chilli as that worked out really well and I've plenty of cubed beef.
Hope your beef roast is a success @Coxy11 and that you have better luck with today's dinner than last week @bubbs .
Today's plan-
B- porridge, banana, strawberries and blueberries (fibre, S,F), milk for drinks (calcium1)
L- Spanish omelette and salad (P,S,F, calcium2)
D- Lamb hotpot with greens (P,S,F)
Swips- weekend wine😁0 -
Last night’s dinner ended up being a salad roll 🤣 the Cajun chicken burger was far too spicy for me so only ate about a quarter. Possibly saved half a swip 🤣
My mother is an horrendous feeder and pulls the ‘let’s share’ card when we go out too. She has no qualms paying for treats but pulls faces at veg prices 🤣
I’m recording everything I’m eating and drinking and so far so good. Breakfast was a sweet omelette with banana, rasps, strawberries and baked apple yoghurt - counting 0.5 for that. Not had this in awhile and really enjoyed it.
DS requested chicken breast stuffed with black pudding and wrapped in bacon for dinner. I’ll count 3 for half a slice of black pudding and 3 for a couple of tablespoons of peppercorn sauce. He will have roasties with his but I’m sticking with broccoli, carrots and sweetcorn.

Evening all 😁
Maman, meat was we had chicken, yorkies were pancakes🤣, i never ate them , the only thing i did different was used a stick blender instead of wooden spoon, won't do that again 🤣
Been hot here today as well.
Well this morning i went to pick my new boots up from Pavers, i ordered 2 pairs because after trying on about 20 different styles these fitted like a dream with my feet and insoles 🙄so ordered a Black pair and Burgundy pair, as i'd tried them on in the shop (in a different colour) i knew they fitted but they had to order these in. She says did you want to try them, i said no it's fine thanks. Anyway get home and they have a zip at a slant on the side and laces, i need these because of my feet. Well i know my hands are manky and getting worse, but i can open a zip! Oh no not these, it was bloody machined down, so now we have to go back again to return them! Not good enough when they are £59.99 each IN THE SALE!
Food today

Evening!
Annoying about the boots @bubbs hope you can find some replacements - boot weather will soon be here 😢
I went to yoga this morning, home for breakfast then out to Sainsbobs for shopping.
The beef was a joint from T’s Easter meat offer and was lovely. When I picked Mum up she got in the car with a bag containing 2 x 2lb loaf cakes - carrot and fruit. They will be going into work with DH tomorrow. I had a small glass of wine!
