Sorry to hear you're poorly @Jellybaby .Stay warm and dose yourself up. 🤗

The light is a great idea @joedenise . I've been known to forget to turn the SC on at the wall then wonder why it's not heating up. 🤣

    Get well soon @Jellybaby x

Glad you have already put the SC to work @joedenise 🙌

Basement is the only spare bed @maman but it has its own bathroom at least. Just a bit much when I get locked out of the house due to the mahoosive catio surround 🙄🙄

    Evening all 😁

Jelly, sorry you are not well, by chance have you had the flu jab? Mum had hers last week and was really poorly, she has never been ill with it before, she was shivering but sweating and i mean really sweating , she had to ring her nightie out, get washed and put another on. She was like this for 2 days but is ok now.

Well bloody car costing me a fortune again, the heater which i knew wasn't working £250 all in with labour etc, that's bad enough but the dial is not working either apparently😢 works on 1,2 and 4 but not 3, they rang me up and found the price out , £467 &vat & labour! I said it's ok i can live with 3 not working 🤣

They have given me a 6 gear courtesy car which goes up to 160 on the speedo, i am not going to test it out though 🤣🤣

Afternoon all, quiet on here today! Been at the hospital all morning with DH for his follow up appointment with the eye consultant. Was hanging around for over an hour to see him. Spoke to him about some of the drops he was given when he left hospital after the op and was told they are "on going" but they'd only given him 2 weeks worth so only has a couple of days left so he gave him a prescription for a month so then ended up hanging around for over an hour for the pharmacy. It was lunchtime by then so we went to the M&S cafe in the hospital for something to eat and drink. Cost a fortune as you can imagine as the coffee is a Costa machine!

Hope you're feeling better today @Jellybaby and got a decent night's sleep.

My post yesterday obviously wasn't very clear @Coxy11 as I made the soup on the hob not in the new SC! Haven't used it yet but it will definitely be pressed into action over the next few weeks as I've now done the November menu plan and there will be quite a few SC meals, mainly curries and taglines. Still have another beef stew or 2 in the freezer to use up.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon & mushroom omelette, beans - P; S
L - Super green salad (from M&S) - S; probably a few swips for the dressing but there wasn't very much of it!
    D - beef stew, mash

    Calcium - milk
Fibre - slice bread with stew 0.5; low cal cereal bar 0.5
    Swips - salad dressing 3?

    Have a good day everyone.
