    Morning!

Plasterer due back any moment to do the coving in the bedroom. He’s already cut it so hopefully only an hour or two. I need to pop out to HB to get some household bits.

We went to the pub last night and I had 2 rum and Pepsi max - thought why not? I’ve never been one to think “it’s weigh day so can cheat” although I know plenty who used to leave evening group and get a takeaway! That’s what’s so frustrating!

    Food today:

    B - SW pancake, mullerlight vanilla, blueberries - fibre, 1, S

    L - spinach omelette, salad - P, S

D - stir fry using LO chicken, peppers, onions, blue dragon sauce, noodles - P, S, free, 1.5

    Calcium - milk

    Calcium #2 - 3 Mini babybel light

    SWIPs - hi fi plus 2.5 = 5.5

Morning all, a bit grey and windy this morning but not going out until later. Had a phone call this morning to tell me that my hand therapy appointment has been cancelled! Really frustrating with going away next week and haven't got another appointment until 3 October. My first appointment got cancelled but at least it was rearranged for 2 days later; with this one they've no idea when she'll be back but doubt I'll get an appointment for Tuesday! The girl I spoke to said she's going to email the therapists with everyone's responses/questions so hopefully I'll get an email next week. I was supposed to be able to stop wearing the splint during the day and just use it at night plus doing extra exercises so going to do that anyway as that was what was supposed to happen. Obviously I'll be careful not to overdo it and any pain will stop.

As we were going to be out at lunchtime I hadn't sorted anything for lunch as we were going to go to Spoons so we're going to do that anyway!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F
L - Spoons - will probably have chicken pomadoro so a few Swips for oil used, everything else is S or P
    D - LO beef curry, rice, naan - Fibre; P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - naan
    Swips - oil 3? G&T 3

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi all, no posting this week as I’ve had family visiting and we’ve been out and about as well as trying to sort out household stuff for parents. Food hasn’t been too bad but didn’t make class this morning as I slept in 🙈 possibly due to a cold starting as I feel a bit ropey.

Anyhow, start of a new week and I’ve a couple of lunches out coming up so will need to be careful. I had toast and jam about 11ish and dinner is steak, chips and roasted veg.

Will catch up on posts later but hope you are all well and plodding along 😁

Spoons didn't happen in the end! My friend phoned me from Sheerness to say it was absolutely gridlocked so decided to try a relatively new restaurant in Leysdown - we didn't even know it was there. I just googled where to eat in Leysdown as there's not much and a newish Italian came up so we decided to try it. Was very nice but a bit on the expensive side - came to about 4 times what Spoons would have cost!

So instead of the chicken I'd planned I had simply grilled seabass (2 fillets), steamed vegetables and new potatoes. Few Swips for butter as the potatoes and veg had been had been tossed in it before serving. DH also had seabass but he only got one fillet! He had a couple of king prawns and some mussels and a tomato sauce with it.

We'll use it again but unless they introduce a cheaper lunchtime menu then it will only be for special occasions. We were chatting with the owner after and he said he's actually working on a new cheaper lunchtime menu so will keep an eye out for that coming out.

Morning all, it's a lovely bright but breezy day so have done a machine load of washing and got it out on the line. We have 2 hours free electric from 11am-1pm so planning on washing and tumble drying the bedding so we can change the bed before going away and then won't be such a rush to get that washed when we return with our holiday washing!

The Italian was lovely @Coxy11 - if you fancy giving it a go it's called Sul Mare. Apparently they've been open 7 months but we only found it online yesterday when I googled for places to eat in Leysdown (knowing there were really only cafes, fish & chips and Indian!) and it came up so had a look online. Definitely worth a go for a special occasion. We certainly won't be using it again for a "casual" lunch!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F
    L - burger, onions, gherkin slices, soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
D - air fried chicken breast, air fried "roast" potatoes, veg - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - soft pitta
    Swips - burger 0.5; may have a couple of G&Ts 6

    Have a good day everyone.

Went to yoga early doors then took Mum shopping. I’d only had an apple before yoga so was starvin’ Marvin’ when I got back.

    Food today:

    B - apple - S

    L - 2 x poached eggs, AF bacon medallions, tomatoes, satsuma - P, S

    D - protein chicken skewers x 2, cous cous, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber - 3, S

    Calcium - milk

Fibre - 2 x skinny bars - got rocky road and millionaires shortbread flavours yesterday in HB.
