Sorry I have been awol! lot's of family drama etc, I think the last time I had weighed in and was off on hols to Pembrokeshire in the campervan.
Weight wise I was 11st when we left, I was away for 2 WI weeks and then also had to miss a 3rd. I weighed last saturday and was still 11st. I'm happy with that, it shows I'll be able to live life with its ups and downs, be on plan one day and off another, but still maintain 😊
I'll try and catch up with the thread but hope all are okI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Morning all, another warm but cloudy day. No washing today for a change!!!! Have been to Iceland to pick up some frozen stuff as it's 10% off day for us oldies!
You've done well @Glad to STS over a few weeks including life getting in the way and a holiday.
@Coxy11 I don't know A and don't know anyone who has been to her group. I'm not keen on Friday am groups due to often going away for weekends and more often than not will go on a Thursday to make it a bit longer break so will probably stick with B on a Wednesday am if I do decide to go back. I'm still undecided at the moment as timing isn't good right now with various breaks away in the motorhome plus a couple of holidays booked for later in the year.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - fajitas - Fibre; P; S; 1.5
D - butternut squash & sweet potato curry, rice, mango chutney - Fibre 2; S; F; 3Calcium - milk
Fibre - wrap; mini naan
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 1.5; mango chutney 3Have a good day everyone.

Well done to all the losers and STS is great after time away @Glad
I did a few errands for the parents while I was out. Dad wanted me to pick up some hosepipe and fixings from a national store. Trying to get him to understand I had to order online and collect when it arrived in store almost made me stop at Morries on way home for wine!!
I was good 😇 had a baked potato with tuna and salad for lunch - 3 swips for salad cream. It’s chicken curry and rice for dinner. I’m using up the Mayflower curry sauce DS2 likes, there will be swips but I only take a couple of spoonfuls so nothing major.Sun is beginning to show now and we’re at a balmy 15 degrees 🤣

That really is good going @Glad and you're right that it shows you can maintain when you're at your target weight.👍🏼 How far off target are you or haven't you decided yet?🤔
Good idea to try out the group to see if you think you'll get on with them @Coxy11. Hope it all works out for you. I think a Friday morning would be my ideal choice too as it gives plenty of time to rein back after a weekend. Unfortunately, the local Friday group is huge with people who talk over the consultant so I won't go there again.
We used to have a local Iceland @joedenise but it closed down when the lease expired on the premises (same block as our Farmfoods). There are other branches around the city and a Food Warehouse in the city centre but it's a shop I rarely get to these days. Just curious what you buy there as I know its not the SW ready meals.
It's 29 degrees here @Jellybaby so the heatwave continues. 🥵 Fortunately we had another cooler start so all ironing now done and I've prepped the veg for tonight's dinner. I've also prepped the mixture to try your kofte recipe tomorrow @bubbs. I've shaped it and left it in the fridge overnight.
Today's plan-
B- porridge (fibre), banana (F), blueberries (S), milk (calcium)
L- Spanish omelette with salad (P,S,F)
D- chicken jambalaya (P,S,F)
Swips- none planned0 -
You're right @maman I don't buy SW ready meals! Usually I buy the 5% steak mince, diced beef (although that always needs trimming before using), lamb cubes (needs trimming as well), smoked white fish or smoked haddock, salmon fillets and plain white fish. The fish is mainly used for fish pies and fish pasta bakes, very rarely have it as just fish. Having said that last time I bought some cod fillets and we had cod & chips (DH wasn't happy it wasn't battered when I said that's what we were having!). I also buy the wraps and mini naan breads.

Evening!
Well done @Glad xx
Thanks for the book info. I’ve taken the first step and texted A - will see if she replies! I would go to B’s on a Wednesday but I work. However I’ve been stood down for tomorrow as there’s little work apparently. Can’t help feeling squeezed out but maybe my meno paranoia kicking in?!
I’m currently pet sitting DS1’s dog (they are away for a wedding) and DD’s kitten as she’s at her boyf’s. DH out at the pub!
So a free day tomorrow - my ironing is up to date so might go to the coast…!ETA: brought home potatoes, a cauliflower, green peppers, courgettes and a curly lettuce from the community allotment.

Morning all, very cloudy again but suspect it will warm up this afternoon same as it did yesterday.
Well done on texting A @Coxy11, hopefully she'll respond quickly and you can decide whether to go or not on Friday morning. Are you sure about going to the coast if you're pet sitting, particularly leaving a dog and a kitten together on their own!
You got a nice selection of stuff from the community allotment to make use of.
We're off to Canterbury today but only for a couple of nights and coming home Friday, probably after lunch. Probably won't get on as the internet signal in Canterbury is appalling! I think it's really bad for a city!
Today's plan:
B - baked oats with mincemeat, fruit, yoghurt - Fibre; S; F; 3
L - eating out - will try to get a jacket potato, steak & salad or similar but who knows as not even sure where we'll be!
D - fajita pasta - P; S; F; 4.5Calcium - milk
Fibre - oats
Swips - mincemeat 3; sweet chilli sauce 4.5; wine swips?Have a good day everyone.

Hi all,
DD came home early doors so I left her to pet sit and walked to Sittingbourne via footpaths and lanes. Wednesday is still half day closing in some towns so I didn’t want to risk going further. Lots of blackberry shoots to contend with so was batting them away with my bag! I did a Boots scan to recycle and got the sky VIP freebie in Sainsbobs - this week it’s cookies which the family will enjoy. Had a coffee in town then walked back.
My tummy is still a bit iffy so I took an apple with me and had a portion of leftover chilli when I got back. Dinner is chicken pesto pasta.
A texted back so I think I’m going to give it a go on Friday.Enjoy your break @joedenise x
