Well done on your loss @Suffolksue. That's a brilliant result! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Interesting that you are thinking of going back to group @Coxy11 and @joedenise . I can see that both paying and having an official WI every week would give extra focus.

I only stopped going myself because the consultant closed the morning group and her other group times didn't suit me. But I was only going every 8 weeks unless I strayed out of range with holidays so haven't attended weekly since I got to target which is coming up 15 years now!😲

It's hotted up here this afternoon (30+) but was cooler this morning. Yes, it's great to clear the washing basket @bubbs . I did that yesterday and even managed to do an hour's ironing this morning. There's still a lot to do but it was a start.😇

I've done another casserole today so didn't have to stay in the kitchen in the heat. I'd love a roast (not had one in over a month) but it can wait until the weather turns.

    Today's plan-
B- scrambled eggs on toast (fibre, P), milk (calcium)
    L- ham (P), pickles (S), vegetable hash (F,S)
    D- chicken casserole (P,S,F), greens (S)
    Swips- cornflour 1, weekend wine😁

Thanks everyone,I’m still trying to work out how it happened !

Had salads every day with a few new pots and chicken or ham or tinned tuna ,ate a lot of fruit ,did drink a lot more water so maybe that was it .

Been in a lot of pain with hip/back and pretty fed up ,but that did cheer me up

Been out for lunch today ,didn’t have roast ,but instead chicken ceaser salad no bacon ,but croutons and mayo

Then fell for lemon posset ,I don’t usually have a desert when I have a roast .

    Will try harder

You all do so well and your meals look so exciting, mine are pretty boring now

Afternoon all, weather not as good today - very cloudy and very windy. However did get a machine load of washing done, on the line, dried, folded and put away so not too bad and it's done and out of the way now for a few days. No more washing until the weekend now with going away Wednesday.

    Today's plan:

B - Weetabix, milk - Fibre; part Calcium
    L - ham salad - Healthy Fat; P; S
    D - Spanish rice - P; S; F; 3.5

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - Weetabix
    Healthy fat - avocado
    Swips - chorizo 3.5

    Have a good day everyone

    Excellent @beanielou 👏

Yesterday afternoon was a get together for a nephew who is off to another country. Relationship is a bit strained so I'd told DH that no way was I not drinking as I ALWAYS drive and just this once he'd have to. Amazing what you can put up with when you're in a white wine fuzz. My ILs are something else.

Back to work this morning and was full of anxiety, plus had a bad tummy too. Only did 3.5 hours. A few comments were made about last week. We have an online 'notes' system but appears that I'm the only one using it - they prefer paper. All well and good but I hadn't physically been in the office since early June so no point writing stuff on paper to keep in my work bag at home. A process only works if everyone is using it. Felt really low about it 😥

The bonus of only working a short day meant that I could pop to town to run an errand before the schools kicked out.

    Food today:

B - nothing, just a cup of tea

L - WM thin, slice of chilli cheese, cucumber, skinny bar, apple - Fibre, Calcium, S, 3.5

D - pork Szechuan with noodles - free

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 3.5 maybe more….

That's excellent @beanielou. Well done!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Are you still working on the same target weight or have you set a new one for yourself?🤔

It's still baking her @joedenise . Like yesterday, it was cooler first thing but now hotted up again. I managed another hour's ironing this morning so not much left now. Have a good time in Canterbury.

We're planning a day out in Chichester tomorrow so food will be whatever we fancy at lunchtime. I know there's a Wetherspoon's right in the centre but we'll decide when we get there what sort of meal we fancy.

    Today's plan-
B- eggs on toast with tomatoes (P,S, fibre), milk for drinks (calcium)
    L- LO chicken casserole (P,F.S)
D- sausages, SW chips, baked beans (F), onions, mushrooms (S)
    Swips- BGTY sausages 2

Brilliant @beanielou - that's a fantastic loss. Have you lowered your target as I thought you said previously that you were already out of bottom end of range?

It's warmed up a bit here @maman but think it's only about 23 or 24, certainly not the hot temperatures we had previously (thankfully - it was definitely too hot!). It's funny how we can put up with higher temperatures when we're on holiday!

Love Chichester but not been for probably 5 years or more. Enjoy.

Your work colleagues certainly don't seem to be very helpful or communicative with you @Coxy11. Daft having a system which others aren't using when you often work from home rather than in the office.

Been doing a bit of sewing over the last couple of days and have almost finished a very clingy vest top! Just need to hem the bottom but think I'm probably going to cut a lump off the bottom as it's much longer than I need - it's almost long enough to be a dress (but definitely too clingy to wear as one!).
