33 degrees here and still roasting. 🥵
Well done on your loss @joedenise . It's better than nothing. 👍 I'm thinking of doing the bedding tomorrow as I've got other light stuff and it will be good to have fresh in this weather even if it's not needed.
Glad I'm not the only one with a stomach like a football @Jellybaby . Quite topical I suppose.🤔🤣 I like the idea of reins to stop the parents wandering off. Glad to hear you've got DS to help even if brother is MIA. 🤬
I don't blame you for not wanting to cook for the taster session @Buffythedebtslayer

Sorry about that but I pressed the wrong button and it won't let me delete. ☹️
I was going to say that your group will be disappointed @bubbs (got it right this time 👍) if they don't have pork pie or one of your other treats.
I bought pork mince today for the kofte and just wanted to ask if you use an egg to bind the mixture like I do with meatballs. 🤔
Enjoyed our lunch out with friends. We had a table next to an open window so not too hot.
I had pan fried plaice with samphire, capers and new potatoes then Earl Grey after when everyone else was having pudding. 😇 Swips would have been in oil/butter for the frying and the one after eight type mint that came with my tea. Breakfast was eggs with ham and tomatoes so not a bad day.
Weekend wine tonight watching the football and then back on plan tomorrow.

It was a complete accident @beanielou . Obviously, I didn't mean to include Buffy. That's the glory of the 'improvements' to the site that one slip and there's no way to delete the error. ☹️ I do hope if she gets notifications she will understand.

I’ve just had a catch up. Sorry I’ve been awol for a while.
I went to the wedding a couple of weeks back. I did wear the blue dress and it looked ok but it did feel a tad tight. From there we stayed at a H@ven site in one of their vans. It was a lovely break right on the banks of The Thames. We drove to outside our new place to be and explored the area on foot and using the buses It’s walkable to dds and ds house. We actually visited Canterbury a couple of times and the bus goes from the end of the road. We finished with a weekend at dds where I jumped on her scales. I’d lost 3 lbs and am back on the stone I want to get under. Hopefully I’ll have done it by the time I move and buy new scales. We saw some amazing sunsets and I’m quite excited to think we will be able to walk the 10 minutes to the sea front to watch them…
I ended up falling in the garden last night and was in A&E until 4 this morning. I can’t fault them as I waited about 30 minutes for triage then they found me a cubicle. Anyway I’ve dislocated both bones in my lower arm and they think there’s a fracture on the tip of my elbow. They sorted me very efficiently and I didn’t feel a thing as they straightened the mess of my arm. I had to go back to see orthopaedic guy today who put me in plaster and scanned me. Got to go back Tuesday to clinic. I could really do without being in plaster whilst I’m trying to get the contents of the house ready for moving 🥴 It feels easier now it’s in plaster though and hopefully I won’t be in plaster too long….they want to stabilise the joint after the double dislocation so it doesn’t make a habit of it 🥴January spends - £587.580 -
Morning all, today dawns lovely and bright with a very little breeze. Hopefully we'll be able to sit out in the garden today when DD2 and her partner come down later this morning. They're having their caravan serviced by a mobile guy at their storage site which isn't too far from us. I'll be glad when the large brie we brought back for her goes from the fridge as it takes up quite a bit of room. I checked when I bought it that it had a good date on it and it's a BB mid August so she's still got plenty of time to cut it into smaller pieces and freeze it.
Oh dear @milann that must have been a nasty fall and the timing couldn't be worse really, could it? Are you doing all the packing yourself for the move? Last time we moved we decided to let the removals guys do the bulk of it, we just packed the more fragile stuff and the box with stuff we'd need on moving in day fairly quickly like cups, tea, coffee, milk etc. We were moving a fairly long distance so knew we'd need a cuppa once we arrived! Didn't quite work out that way as we arrived at the estate agents just after noon and they'd closed for lunch!!! so we couldn't get the keys. In some ways it worked out for the best as it meant we went and had something to eat and if we hadn't I don't think we'd have eaten all day until the evening!
DH has finally sorted out the water pump in the motorhome so we'll be able to get away soon which will be good after cutting our holiday short. I've just got to go in there and give it a good clean. DH said he's done it but all he's done is hoovered it! Not having water readily available while we were away the floors only got swept so a good wash needs doing, also giving the loo a good clean, along with the sink and floor of the shower.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
L - burger, onions, gherkin slices, soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
D - keema curry, rice, mini naan, mango chutney - Fibre; P; S; F; 3Calcium - milk
Fibre - soft pitta; mini naan
Swips - sausage 1; burger 0.5; mango chutney 3Have a good day everyone.

Kitten is very cute @Coxy11 cats know I’m terrified and of course always want to lie along me 🤣
Look after yourself @milann you will just have to direct the packing 😁
I took my football stomach off to group this morning and got a STS. 🤞it comes off next week. I also bought another countdown to keep me motivated.
I’m going to have my new favourite Quakers mango and passion fruit granola with strawberries, raspberries and yoghurt. Fibre choice and 0.5 syns. Tea will be homemade burgers, huge salad and I may have a wholemeal rolls as second fibre choice or make some sw friendly wedges, will wait and see how hungry I am. No alcohol to see if it helps with the bloating 😇0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Oh Milann hope you are not in too much pain, well done on your loss.
Jelly a maintain is better than a gain, well done.
I lost 1lb, was hoping for more but better than nothing 🤣
Denise don't you have your thumb done soon?
Lunch, bit of potato salad and pork pie from taster, egg wrap, speed
I am also having burger for tea 3 sv, fibre and half calcium , i usually make them but bought some from aldi with mince being so expensive thought i'd give these a go

I am @bubbs. Pre op is on 20th and the op is on 28th so only a couple of weeks to go. We're actually booked to go away in the motorhome on 2 August so that'll be fun as apparently I'll need to keep my arm up in the air for the first couple of weeks! I need to try and get some more homemade ready meals into the freezer so that it won't be too much effort for DH with cooking while we're away, at least for the first few days. I've just ordered some portion control freezer boxes so I can use those and once frozen get them into bags so they take less room in the freezer and will be able to take them in the little ice box in the motorhome fridge!
