Hope your DH enjoyed his trip to Farmfoods @bubbs .🤣

Sadly we don't have a branch any more but I've bought those sausages in the past and always found them good value for cheese. I've been buying the Collier's cheese in Home Bargains recently at just over £5 per kg for mature cheddar and last week I got some Ocado in the CS for a similar price.

I washed a couple of throws to make use of the drying weather @joedenise . I can sympathise with Joe not feeling hungry in the heat. Our north facing dining room is cool but it takes some energy to cook the meal in the first place.

This heatwave has taken us by surprise with the garden furniture @Jellybaby . Ours is metal framed so at the moment our chairs are one pristine, 2 scruffy and one covered in undercoat!😁

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium), eggs (P0, tomatoes (S)
    L- usual Monday leftovers (P,S,F)
D- Haddock (P) SW chips (F), veg to be decided (S)
    Swips- none planned

    Morning all,

Another hot day on the cards. I was going to go to the community allotment this morning but think I’ll stay here. We bought a few plants at the local garden show yesterday which need to be watered/moved. Will hopefully plant them on Thursday.

I lost 0.5lb last week. It’s 2 weeks until our holiday - bed and breakfast hotel in Majorca. Hoping to get out and about whilst there rather than lazing about!

Food shopping with Mum this afternoon as she was busy on Saturday. Found out ‘busy’ meant going to the building society.

    Food today:

    B - Bran sticks, Mullerlight, strawberries, blueberries - Fibre, 0.5, S

L - picky plate - crab sticks, ham, cheese, carrot, pickles, houmous, apple, strawberries - free, P, S, 2

D - Ginger and soy salmon, plain rice, green beans - P, free, S

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 2.5

That Grahams butter looks a good buy @bubbs I get Grahams low fat cottage cheese, depending what shop I'm in, much creamier than shops own, 300g tub and free. I do love the new philadelphia cottage cheese though, think that's 1 syn for the tub

So hot yesterday, took the dogs for 20 mins in the woods at 8.30, then they stayed in all day, mine is an old victorian terrace and middle rooms are very cool even in this heatwave!

Back in work today, local hospital, no air con and the radiators are ON in the corridors!!!

Morning all, still toasty here too 🎉🎉

Well done on STS @beanielou . Hope you survive the heat @Glad especially at work! Total madness!

Hair appointment at lunch time and having naturally curly hair it will likely be a frizz bomb by the time I get home but it badly needs cut and thinned out.

I made a huge fruit salad last night to snack on and had some with yoghurt for breakfast. Due to hair appt will probably just wait until dinner which is gammon salad. I’m going to make coleslaw and potato salad 😋

    Stay cool everyone!
