Morning all, it's another bright sunny day. We're not getting the very high temperatures that the forecasts are talking about but still very pleasant at about 22/23 yesterday. Supposed to be a bit warmer today. I quite like these temperatures as it gets very humid as it gets hotter and that's horrible!

A machine load of washing done and out on the line.

    Today's plan:

B - fry up with bacon (couldn't get any sausages or burgers when we went to the butchers as the queue was horrendous!) - P; S; F
    L - Welsh rarebit, pickles - Calcium, Fibre, S
D - Steak, peppers, jacket potato, salad

    Calcium - milk; cheese
    Fibre - bread
Swips - may have a couple of G&Ts this evening

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi everyone,

Pleased to report we now have a working loo in our en-suite so just the architrave to caulk and paint now. Will hopefully to that this week. I spent most of yesterday in the garden doing various jobs, culminating with a watering session in the early evening. Aching a lot today.

Thanks for concern about BIL - he's only 52 - just awful.

We have DS1 and DDIL coming for a BBQ late afternoon. We have been dog-sitting as they attended a friend's wedding yesterday. I've got some sausages from a local butcher so looking forward to trying those out.

Well done on your losses @Glad and @Suffolksue xx

Annoying about the gains @bubbs and @Jellybaby :(

Taster sessions were always a bit meh at my last (morning) group. I only use a small tin of PP @bubbs maybe my crust is thinner??

    Food today:

B - toasted bagel thin, AF bacon and tomato, poached egg - Fibre, P, S

L - banana, apple - S (really not hungry after good breakfast and due to the heat)

D - bbq - will have a lot of salad, 1 burger, 1 sausage, spoonful of coleslaw, spoonful of houmous, no bread or crisps - that's the plan - SWIPs flexible.

I will be listening to the football later. We need to draw or (hopefully) win. A loss could mean relegation. So stressful. Glad you will get your tickers refunded @maman x

27 degrees here according to the weather App. Washing on the line and probably dried to a crisp! It seemed crazy when I was pegging out long sleeved tops and a jumper we were wearing a few days ago! ๐ŸคฃYou must think you're still in Egypt @joedenise .

I always think a barbecue is easily adapted to be SW friendly @Coxy11 . ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผfor a win this afternoon.

I portioned up the meals from yesterday and there's 4 Bolognese and 2 curry plus a small portion that I enjoyed with my lunch. Meatballs will go into the oven later.

Fortunately, my 'new' kitchen/garden room is really well insulated so doesn't get too hot @bubbs . We're having a roast today!๐Ÿ˜

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium), eggs (P), baked beans (S)
    L- JP (F), chicken curry (P,S), salad (S)
    D- roast pork dinner (P,S,F)
    Swips- gravy 4, weekend wineโ˜บ๏ธ

Itโ€™s sunny here with a breeze. About 14 I think. To be warmer during the week. Bring it on.

Definitely not as warm as Egypt but nice all the same. It's about 21/22 here at the moment - felt warmer when we were sitting out in the garden this morning.

It felt warm enough to sit out for an hour or two but think Iโ€™ve got a touch of wind burn ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ it was very breezy! Happy I got all the bedding dried too.

Food on plan - fruit, yoghurt and cereal for breakfast and homemade smoked haddock fish cakes for dinner with loads of roasted veg. Iโ€™ve used 3 swips for an extra 20g of cereal to finish off the box and another 3 for tartare sauce.
