@Coxy11 I had one of my heads today too, I often do when the weather is muggy. Maybe that was the cause of the nap as well @Jellybaby

Such a good loss last week, I’m biting my nails about this week lol. I have been so good, but my friend is back from her holibobs tomorrow and three of us are out for a good catch up, I’ve looked at the menu and thinking scampi, chips and peas then apple & cherry crumble and custard, I just can’t help myself 😆

I was thinking I could get weighed tomorrow before we go, but there isn’t anywhere to go! So Saturday after the night out it is 🤨

Morning all, a beautiful bright sunny day today. Bedding is in the machine and will be going out on the line shortly. No wind today so it will just be the heat of the sun to dry it - much prefer it drying when there is a breeze.

Enjoy your meal out tonight @Glad and don't worry too much about WI tomorrow. I'm sure whatever goes on will come off next week - I doubt it will make a lot of difference overnight anyway!

I weighed again this morning and as expected I put on 0.5lb! DD1 came over the other day and bought a load of brownies and I ate 3 of them! These were made by her fiancé (the chef!) and he uses loads of chocolate in it rather than mainly cocoa! Oh well, I'll just have to be good all week to try and shift some of the weight gain!

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - Fibre; P; S; F
    L - fajita pasta - P; S; F; 3
    D - fish pie, veg - Calcium, P; S; F

Calcium - milk, Seriously strong cheese spread
    Fibre - oats

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Have a lovely time @Glad at prices nowadays I believe you need to enjoy every mouthful when you’re eating out - I like your choices (except for the custard bleugh 🤣).

You’ll have it off in no time @joedenise when’s your next holiday? 😁

@beanielou got the footie info wrong 🙄 DS2 is watching tomorrow’s game in the pub and going to the international game next week 🙄 he’s still cheering on your team though 🎉

Looks like it’s going to be torrential rain and thunder here, very dark but humid. I’ve an over 60s check up at health centre later, this might be the kick up the backside I need lol.

Breakfast is the usual fruit and yoghurt. DS2 is treating me to lunch at a new Turkish restaurant so goes without saying there will be swips. I’ll play dinner by ear depending on how full I am.

    Have a good day everyone.

Enjoy your lunch out with your DS @Jellybaby. I agree with you that you need to enjoy what you eat when you are eating out. I also want to enjoy what I eat at home!

Next holiday - not sure!!! Was supposed to be taking the motorhome to France for a month from mid June but that's off now as DH has a pre op on 2nd June for his eye so presumably his op is likely to be during that time. It's a Eurotunnel trip so may try and change it to the car and just do a short trip using cheap hotels or perhaps take the motorhome later in the year but not sure if that will be possible with our other holidays!

We're supposed to be doing a month in the motorhome to France again in September which will hopefully go ahead; a week on the Isle of Wight in October and then a week AI in Tunisia in November!

Hopefully you won't gain overnight @Glad and then you've got next week to rein back the extra swips.🤞🏼 I'm surprised you haven't got a Friday group near you, I thought it was a popular day.

Hope you enjoyed your lunch @Jellybaby . I love Turkish food, what did you choose?🤔

It'll be good to get to France even if it's just for a short break @joedenise . We stayed in an Ibis in Brussels at Easter and it was absolutely fine with an excellent breakfast. I suppose it's the equivalent of Premier Inn over here.

It's hot and gloriously sunny here today. I've changed the bed ready to put it out tomorrow as this is forecast well into next week. Well done for sorting out an outdoor washing line @Coxy11 . You can't beat it for fresh clothes.

I've done my meal plan for the week and will shop later. I'll buy sausages when I'm out so swips tonight will depend on whether I get them in Sainsbury's or Aldi, not that half a swip will make much difference!🤣

    Today's plan:
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium), scrambled eggs (P)
L- cold meat (P), stir fried veg (S)
D- sausage casserole with penne (P,S,F)
    Swips- sausages 1.5 or 2, weekend wine☺️

Today hasn't gone to plan! I'd said I'd pick my friend up from Sittingbourne station and she phoned just after 12 and said her train would be in about 12.50 so not enough time to cook lunch and eat it as we'd need to leave at 12.30. Unfortunately once we'd got over the bridge to get off the Island the traffic going on was absolutely horrendous and the bridge was closed coming back on and everything had to go over the old bridge so 2 lanes of traffic onto a single lane and there were loads of lorries so it was terrible. We only got back about half hour ago so am now cooking lunch.

Don't think we're going to want dinner tonight so will probably just have some toast followed by fruit and yoghurt. Fish pie can be dinner tomorrow night now!

I bet your group loves your contributions to tasters @bubbs . We love the photos but they actually get to eat them!

You're right that we're never satisfied, too hot, too cold, too wet! 🤣

Called into Company Shop today but no bargains. Got some Ocado cheddar and mainly stuff for the food bank. I did buy some Asda corned beef, 4 slices. How many swips, please? 🤔

What a pain being held up in the traffic @joedenise
