    Morning all,

Had no internet from 11am-8pm yesterday due to OR issue. Lots of messages on the WA village group - ridiculous. DD couldn’t work, we couldn’t use smart TV or Alexa, I couldn’t do my weekly banking etc. just don’t realise how much we depend on it!

I walked to the allotment yesterday early doors and did a few hours of weeding ready for sweetcorn and other bits to go in. I much prefer the maintenance style jobs as not much you can bodge up when working solo!!

Annoying about the bridge @joedenise! Those brownies sound lush x

Hope you enjoyed your meal @Glad x

I might make a pork pie today @bubbs I find one tin of PP makes two crusts mmmm x

What happened about your tickets for tonight @maman did you get a refund? Just terrible all round. Imagine the fans will be losing train fares and hotel bookings and M fans scrambling to book. Lots of rail replacements this weekend due to BH maintenance too.

Was planning to food shop with Mum today but she’s busy so will just pop out for a few bits then go properly on Tuesday. BIL coming shortly to fit en suite loo (finally) and I’m planning to do some gardening here today. DH is camping with friends again - this time Biggin Hill.

    Food today:

    B - malted wheats, blueberries, mullerlight - fibre, S, 0.5

L - something with salad - might buy some peppered mackerel etc - depends what I find at Sains!!

D - freezer surprise - have lots of single meal portions - free

    Calcium - milk

Remember the sunscreen folks - this is how BIL illness started. He’s been told very matter of factly he’ll never ring the bell - just awful.

Morning all, another lovely day but won't be going anywhere as the bridge is closed until further notice! The traffic is absolutely horrendous. Was hoping to get to the Food Warehouse on Tuesday but not looking likely at the moment so will have to use the little Iceland on the island - we have 2 but neither seem to stock a good range and are often out of stock of the things I want to buy!

The brownies are really lush @Coxy11 - that's why I can't resist them when he makes them especially when they're here in the kitchen! I can usually just have one when we visit DD1 so not as bad.

So sorry to hear that your BIL has been told he'll never ring the bell - that's heartbreaking.

We've been invited to a BBQ on Sunday but with the bridge still being closed we've decided against it. Would really like to go but just can't face nearly 2 hours to get home again.

    Today's plan:

    B - veggie omelette - 0.5 calcium; P; S; F
    L - couscous with roasted veg - S; F
    D - fish pie, veg - calcium; P; S; F

Calcium - 0.5 milk; cheese 0.5; seriously strong spread
    Fibre - none planned
    Swips - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

That’s awful news for your BIL and family @Coxy11

I’m planning on getting stuck into the gardening too, in fact I’ve just decided to find out if our nearest tip is open and I’ll do a few runs.i also need to buy some bedding plants for pots at the front of the house.

Scales didn’t go my way - 1.5 on. Feeling a bit down but going to do a food diary and hand it in so that should keep me on track 🤞

I had a sweet omelette with banana, raspberries and strawberries when I got in from group. Counting 1 swip for protein yoghurt and 0.5 for a tbsp of skinny toffee syrup. I’ll report back when I decide what I want for dinner!

Decided we needed to go out after all as run out of yoghurt - don't usually do that. Not keen on having a bowl of fruit for pudding without yoghurt! Picked up a pork fillet YS's to just over £2. Have sliced it and will cook it to have with the couscous at lunchtime. The LOs will either go in the freezer or will make a sweet and sour for dinner Monday.
