that looks wonderful Bubbs
We had taster with man of the year, which our sole man won ! As usual with a taster the majority came, weighed and left
I took a fruit platter ,the consultant brought a few bits and chopped up a few hifi bars ,she’d made some sw pimms and that was it
I lost a lb and got the sow basket as the true SOW’s had gone ,two tins and a banana that I’d taken 😀🥹
I-know alb/ week is nearly 4 stone in a year ,but just the occasional 2 lb would be good !

Thanks Sue,
Well done on your loss, i know what you mean but don't get disheartened 🤗
There was SW pimms, skewers , fruit, pate, jelly sweets, a pasta dish, KFC chicken, all sorts.
Is your group very big normally? Dunno why people don't stop when it's taster, you don't have to eat!
What a poor show for SOTW basket! Ours hasn't been as good lately but least there is about a dozen things in it!

Well done on your loss @Suffolksue . We always want more but.... 👏👏👏
Sorry you both gained @bubbs and @Jellybaby . It's always particularly infuriating when you don't know why. It's not often that unexplained gains come along.😠
I've never felt that taster sessions worked particularly well for a morning session but I suppose it varies from group to group. I always had breakfast before I went so wasn't particularly hungry anyway. I always took something decent for the SoW basket but many people don't bother.
The food diary is a good idea @Jellybaby . I always think just doing it makes you really focus and any useful feedback is a bonus.
That's maddening about the internet @Coxy11 . Ours can be very patchy at times and so irritating for neighbours working from home. Such sad news for your BIL.🤗
Those brownies sound irresistible @joedenise . It's probably too late now but would they freeze so you could just take out one when you fancy?🤔
It's a strange feeling this afternoon knowing we would have been at Wembley. I've been listening to the Scottish cup final instead but that's not going well either @beanielou .☹️
We'll get a refund on our tickets @Coxy11 and as we don't live that far from London not that many would have paid for hotels. Some might travel anyway and find something else to do. Good luck for your team tomorrow. I think you'll be safe. 🤞🏼
Bolognese is in the SC and I'm just about to make meatballs to cook tomorrow. I'm going to make some rice pouches too and tonight's curry will have at least one extra portion for the freezer so I'm not wasting my day!
Today's plan-
B- porridge (fibre), milk (calcium), strawberries, raspberries (S), banana (F)
L- egg (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- chicken curry with rice (P,F,S)
Swips- weekend wine ☺️ and possibly mango chutney?🤔0 -
Definitely too late @maman - the brownies have all gone. Not sure about freezing them though, think it would probably affect the texture. I just wish he wouldn't bring them over - knows I'm trying to shift the holiday weight! It's done now so I'm trying really hard to stick to plan now and will hopefully lose the weight over the next few weeks.
You're doing well with your unexpected day at home, plenty of HM ready meals for the freezer. I really need to get some into my freezer as not much in there at the moment. I've got plenty of chicken breasts but not much else at the moment.
Well done @suffulksue - a loss is a loss; as @maman says we always want more. Shame about your SOTW basket. When I used to go to group there was usually quite a good selection of fruit, veg, tins and often hifi bars as well.

Yes @maman. Sadly but not totally unexpectedly a loss for us. However they are a very young team and a huge well done to them.

Well done on the losses @Suffolksue and @Glad 👏. Boo to the gain @bubbs you must still be in bottom end of target which is fab.
Commiserations to your team @beanielou you’re right they did well and have a great future ahead.
Home alone so decided on a baked potato with tuna and a huge salad for dinner. Used 3 swips for salad cream. No weekend wine - or gin 😇🤣
