A full day, my friend didn’t realise until she got to the school that it was a teacher training day lol, so she had to stay at home and I did a run on my own, listening to my favourite Tudor chest podcast. Sun then rain all afternoon but managed to dry some washing. French lessons started again today and we went out for tea after, I had a baked potato, with chilli non carne and side salad. Worked a little on my blog and then suddenly developed a headache! So pj’s on and off to bed soon, work tomorrow so hope it goes overnight.

    Morning all,

I have sunshine!! And of course, no washing to do 🤣🤣

Dentist appointment later and I’ll pop to the library while I’m out. DS2 and I discussed the food shop last night - we have such exciting conversations 😂. A bit of using up fridge and cupboard bits and pieces and he’ll sort shopping for himself while I’m away.

So breakfast today was fruit and yoghurt, lunch is veggie omelette with pickles and dinner is a simple gammon salad with chips (I’m actually really looking forward to this).

    Have a good day everyone.

That's one of the great things about SW @Jellybaby (compared with other 'diets'), you can have a good plateful of simple things (like your gammon and chips with salad) and still lose weight. We thoroughly enjoyed our sausage, chips, beans and veg last night.😋

We need fresh compost too @Coxy11 . I've got a few plants that need splitting and some seeds to start. I need to find best value. Good luck with stripping out the bathroom.

Well done for staying towards the bottom of range @Matron_Midge . I'd love to be where you are!👍🏻

£20 for two courses would be a bargain around here @milann unless you eat at somewhere like Wetherspoons. Glad to hear you enjoyed the pudding. If we choose to have swips then enjoying them is essential! ☺️

I don't know what you pay @bubbs but a Toby carvery here charges £16.49 for a carvery on a Sunday plus around the £5-6 for a pudding.

Freezer meal for us tonight (your favourite @Jellybaby) as I'm out dancing both today and tomorrow evening so need something quick to cook and clear up. Batch cooking HM ready meals is so worth the effort for days like this.

    Today's plan-
B- porridge (fibre choice), milk ( calcium choice 1), raspberries (S), banana (F)
L- same as yesterday P,S,F (ham, LO veg and pickles)
D- Spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P,F,S), Parmesan (calcium choice 2)
    Swips- 0

    Afternoon all 😁

Well done to your niece Coxy 👏

Lovely day here, we have been sorting the shed out. Just had a quick shower and was quick!

Maman it was £10.99 each, was a sizzler pub, but my sister has a blue light card so was £10 each, we didn't have a pudding.

Jelly when do you go away?

    Morning all,

Am now craving a pork pie @bubbs - remind me is it Pek ham, pease pudding, egg and S&P?

The en suite demolition has started. We took down a false wall, removed a radiator and took down some shelves and tiles. All gone to the tip. Will continue tomorrow when we’re both off. I must’ve walked up and down those stairs about 50 times!

A WFH day today which means I can have an interesting lunch instead of a roll!!

    Food today:

    B - banana, apple,

L - orzo pot - orzo, sun dried tomato, red onion, red pepper, feta, red wine vinegar, satsumas - free, 2, S, 1/2 calcium

D - chicken, leek and mushroom tagliatelle - free, calcium

    1/2 calcium - milk

    SWIPs - 2 plus skinny bar 3.5 = 5.5 total

Morning all, and the wind and rain is back …..

    Great body magic @Coxy11 😁

I’m away next Tuesday @bubbs I ordered a couple of bathing suits last night and hoping they’ll be here in time!

Looking forward to salsa class later even though I still have two left feet lol. Breakfast was the usual yoghurt and fruit and I’m going to have tomato and red pepper soup with a soft pitta filled with ham salad for lunch. Dinner is chicken curry using the Mayflower curry sauce mix. Not my favourite but DS requested it so I’ll do the usual and only have a few tablespoons of the sauce. I’ll count 5 swips to be on the safe side.

By the way, I can’t get used to saying swips. Something else that irritates me with SW 🙄

Yes, I agree it's a daft name @Jellybaby but probably just because we'd got so used to syns. Apparently it's mainly because some people thought syns/sins sounded like something bad that you shouldn't eat but swips is just a silly word IMO.

    I fancied @bubbs' pork pie too @Coxy11 . I think Sainsbury's ham

    Sainsbury's Lean Cooked Ham 200g | Sainsbury's

is swip free too. I've not seen Pek ham much lately especially since our Farmfoods closed down.🥹

I think I need to work on my SW friendly snacks a bit more. Last week when I was reading more than usual (to finish my book club book in time) I kept fancying a snack. I only succumbed to a couple of small water biscuits each time but some pork pie would go down really well!😋

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre choice), milk (calcium choice), scrambled eggs, ham (P)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
D- chilli and rice (P,S,F), cottage cheese (P)
    Swips- LTL mayo 1
