Sorting out the scales should motivate you to get that 3lbs off and reach your interim target @milann .Good luck for the week ahead!

Glad you enjoyed your calzone version of pizza @bubbs .So different for your 'normal' food. 🤣

Morning all, up extra early this morning in the hope of being tired much earlier tonight as will need to get up by about 1.30am tomorrow and would be good to get a few hours sleep before driving to the airport!

The "calzone" looks good @bubbs but not the easiest to eat - was it a knife and fork job rather than picking it up? Bet it was really tasty. You can defrost/heat pittas in a toaster if you forget to get them out in future. I rarely get mine out until a couple of hours before I want to use them and then either toast them or warm them through in a dry frying pan on the hob.

Glad you have a good break at your DDs over the Easter break @milann and a very well done on only a lb gain. I'm sure you'll shift that 3lb to get to your interim target. Good luck with selling your house and that the bungalow you liked the look of is still available once you've sold. I don't think Cornwall is a good place to decide whether or not to keep your motorhome as not the easiest of places to use it unless you have another means of getting around due to the narrow roads! I really hope you are able to keep it so that you can use it in Europe to see how easy it is to find places to park up, often free of charge or just a few Euros, right in the centre of a village.

Decided to do one more load of washing as the wash bin was looking quite full - with the towels and tea towels there is definitely a load so going to get that done, out on the line and hopefully dry to fold and put away later. There will definitely not be much left in the wash bin when we go then!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
    L - burger, onions, gherkins, soft pitta - Fibre; S; 0.5
    D - LO pork fillet, mash, veg - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - soft pitta
    Swips - sausage 1; burger 0.5

Will read along when I can while away but won't be posting - you really don't need to see what I'm eating and drinking on holiday!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all 😁

It's a lovely day so far, hope it stays this way as i am wearing a summer dress to go out in today!

Denise incase i don't get here again and "see" you before you go , have a fab time!

Calzone was actually easier to eat than then pitta pizza as this was more solid, i cut it into 3 slices like a pizza, was pretty solid 😁

Will report back later what i have to eat

Such a wee gain after a fab holiday and Easter @milann well done.

    Have a lovely holiday @joedenise

I picked up some of those strawberries in Morries @bubbs on Friday, went to use some this morning and one pack was mouldy already 🤮I also got some from Lidls on offer and these were lovely.

Nothing much planned today, just catching up with things around the house. Remembered to cook the topside yesterday so just veg to prep and dinner is sorted.

Shame about the Morries strawberries @Jellybaby- worth an email to them to complain?; if they're anything like Tesco they will refund the money for them to your More card to use as money off your next shop. I bought some last week when they were reduced to 99p but not on BOGOFF and they were lovely.

Have treated myself to a smoked salmon and cream cheese on wholemeal sandwich to eat on the plane tomorrow rather than paying out for a cheese toastie or bacon roll - cheaper too!

Great idea to buy a sandwich to take with you @joedenise, I do that or sometimes (usually from Boots at the airport with Advantage points) or even make my own if I'm being very mse. Last week I went to a branch of Carrefour in Brussels and bought some for the train. On the way back from Turkey we usually get the hotel to make us some sandwiches for the plane as prices in Dalaman airport are very high. Best price for a cup of tea is upstairs in Burger King (or it might be McD). Have a great holiday!😎

It can't be long before your next holiday @Jellybaby .🤔

Get you wearing a summer dress @bubbs ! Hope you have a lovely lunch out. It's often hard to match what you cook at home, especially the quality of your meals.

I went shopping this morning because I know I need a couple of new bikinis before I go away. I bought two to try but will keep looking until I make a final decision.

Lunch was a warm rice salad using LO savoury rice from yesterday and some other bits of veg on a bed of leaves. It turned out very well.👍🏻

    Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre choice), milk (calcium choice), eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F)
L- warm rice salad with ham (P,S,F)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), roast potatoes, parsnips (F), much other veg (S)
    Swips- cornflour 1.5, weekend wine☺️

Thanks for the heads up about the best place to get a cup of tea at Dalaman airport @maman. We usually get something from the snack bar or make something up at breakfast to take with us for the plane on the way home.

Normally I'd make sandwiches to take with us but didn't really have anything to put in them as been using up all the bits and pieces! We had the last satsuma after lunch today! By the time we go tomorrow there won't be anything other than a few potatoes and onions left! There's also a tiny piece of cheese in a box in the fridge (but enough to make 2 sandwiches though!)

Thanks for the good wishes for us to enjoy our holiday! I'm sure we will once we get over the lack of sleep tonight!
