I'm with you on making something up at breakfast for the journey home @joedenise .

Last week in Brussels, we had chips and mayonnaise one lunchtime but all the other days I took something from breakfast. DH was calling me a 'breakfast bandit' but I think it's just mse. 🤣

We're going AI so need to be a breakfast bandit but like you if we were B&B or HB I'd definitely be one!

    Morning all,

Hope @joedenise got off on her holiday okay and has a good time x

I have weighed today - no change from before I went away so line drawn. We have a week in Majorca booked for mid June, so both of us are looking to shift weight. DH only has one round of sandwiches for lunch today instead of two (plus crisps and chocolate bar, but it’s a start!).

It’s a work day today so food as follows:

    B - spinach omelette, satsumas - P, S

L - WM cheese roll, apple - Fibre, Calcium, S

    D - chilli con carne with rice - P, S, free

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPS - Skinny bar 3.5

I was at a Wellness day yesterday which was catered by a nutritionist. Lovely spread including veg and fruit plus cakes. The filled rolls were made with yeast-less dough - tasty but the paper plate only just held up it was so heavy! The cakes were made with peanut butter/mashed banana and there were biscuits made with coconut flour. The shame was that the nutritionist didn’t explain the reasons for these recipes. I think she missed a trick there.

    Morning all,

Maintain is good @Coxy11 especially when away 😁

I am an avid breakfast bandit 🤣🤣 some of my continental breakfast will be joining me on next week’s early flight!

It was lovely and sunny when I got up this morning so got bedding washed and out on the line. It’s now blooming raining! I hate drying washing inside….huff.

I had a sweet omelette with fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and I think I’ll have a ham salad roll with some pea and ham soup for lunch. Dinner is chilli salmon with leftover potatoes and veggies (DS2 is having steak pie 🤢).

    Have a good day everyone.

STS is excellent after a holiday @Coxy11 . Well done!👍🏻

DH is trying to seriously lose a few pounds before our holiday in June too. His breakfasts are generally OK but he's going to try substituting his sugary muesli for a NAS granola which is a fibre choice. He always has the same dinner as me so no problem there either except that he has a small bar of 70% chocolate (7 swips) most evenings. Like your DH he has a very non SW friendly lunch most days. It's usually just the one filled roll but most days he has something like cake or biscuits or a teacake alongside. I'm hoping that the extra swips that most men are allowed will help but we'll see how long it lasts.

I tried the bikinis on after my shower this morning and they fit fine but I so need to lose a bit off my stomach. I know there will be far worse sights than me around but I just hate it. Why does the weight never go from the places you want it to!🤔☹️

Shame about the rain @Jellybaby . I'm hoping that drying washing indoors is over for a while but weather forecast is so unreliable that it's hard to know. It's dry and bright here but forecast still says up to a 30% chance of rain.

How did yesterday go @bubbs ?

    Today's plan-
B- fry up (P,S, 1 calcium and 1 fibre choices)
L- ham (P), LO veg and pickles (F,S)
D- sausages, SW chips, baked beans (F), onions, mushrooms (S)
    Swips- Aldi sausages 1.5

@joedenise hope you land safe and have a fab time on holiday.

@Coxy11 well done on the maintain

Everyone else seems to be plodding along well - great job!

Beautiful spring day here in Yorks. Seen the smallest lambs out with the sun on their backs kicking their little legs up playing. Just gorgeous

I weighed in on the surgery scales after 2 weeks and have managed to gain 0.6lg. It will be off next week though cos it can only be fluid from a Chinese takeaway last night. I’m still low down in range so I’m ok with it.

    Have a super week everyone.

Well I messed up tea as thought it was chilli and rice but turns out it was gammon, egg, chips and beans! I AF’d my SW chips using some past their best potatoes - delicious!

Going to save my skinny bar until 7:30pm for my one coffee of the day.

In other news, my niece won an Olivier Award last night. Insanely proud of her 🥳

I’ve been out with friends today to a town not far away that’s had its town hall renovated over the last couple of years. We had a guided tour and it was very interesting……lots of interesting snippets. The restaurant was amazing…..not the cheapest at 2 courses for £20 but was well worth the money. I ended up with a crème brûlée which is my absolute favourite dessert - I hadn’t intended having a pudding….but I did and I enjoyed it. The meal was about 2 pm so I’ve only had fruit for my evening meal. Hopefully that’ll offset the crime brûlée. We ended up with unexpected body magic. Unfortunately there had been a child knocked over by either a tram or car and there were no trams running to the stop we were supposed to be getting on……police cordons everywhere… we had to walk uphill to the next tram stop where everything terminated. Hopefully the child is ok…there was a car and a tram in the cordoned off zone and 2 ambulances plus half a dozen police. It messed our journey home but bet it messed the driver and Childs day more.

    January spends - £587.58

Gosh @milann how awful. Not a great end to your day out. Let’s hope the child is okay 🙏🏻
