So sorry to hear about all the health issues today @bubbs 🤗 . I'm amazed that DH's results didn't flag up as urgent. I can understand that they don't hurry over no change or negative but it's good that the MacMillan nurse responds promptly.

It's not been so nice here today. We had a little bit of rain on our walk this morning and while we've had some sun, it kept clouding over.

Well done on making (and enjoying) the pork pie @Coxy11 .I'm another who keeps meaning to try it.

    Today's plan -

B- Porridge (fibre), milk (calcium), berries (S), banana (F)

    L- JP with prawns and salad (P, S, F)

    D salmon, chips and roasted veg (P, S, F)

    Swips - 0

Out for lunch tomorrow. I haven't looked at the menu yet but will try to choose wisely. 🤞

Oooh Bubbs welcome to my world, I looooove gherkins 😁 I like them sliced too but when I can’t get any reduced, I buy the whole ones from Lidl and slice them myself.

Sorry about the health woes, Hope the injection works and your poor DH, as Maman says, you’d think he’d be on a priority/urgent list.

Picked up my new swimsuits from M&S and they fit and look OKish. I’m happier in shorts and tees 😀

Anyway, food today could have been better! I was out for lunch and had chicken salad but it came with loads of delicious coleslaw, potato salad and….chips! I ate the lot. No dinner as I’m still stuffed.

Glad you liked the gherkins @bubbs . I prefer cornichons which are really smaller gherkins but I think they taste sweeter and nuttier. I also love the honey cornichons but they're much more expensive and for some unknown reason they're free not Speed. 🤔 I buy them in Lidl.

Glad to hear the swimsuits fit

Thanks Jelly, glad the swim suits fit ok.

These were from Lidl, sliced ones, think they were 79p, do they not sell them all the time?, think that's why i liked them as they were quite sweet and not vinegary , i eat pickled onions but don't eat much vinegar as it makes me cough for some reason 🤷‍♀️

That made me laugh @beanielou 🤣 I love any kind of pickle if I’m honest.

Just hung out two loads of washing and its started raining. Blah!

A day of hanging around the house - boiler being serviced and handyman pricing up a few jobs. DS just away to do the shopping trip 😁

I’ve had the last of the fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and I’ll have the last of the tomato and red pepper soup from the freezer for lunch. Dinner is meatballs and spaghetti 😋😋

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning (just), another pickle fan here although I draw the line at piccalilli 🤢

I've just been food shopping at T's because we have a busy day tomorrow and I'd like to keep Sunday free to spend some time gardening if possible. I did scan and pack and forgot to scan a box of eggs. The machine asked for a 12 item check and of course the eggs were on the top so I had to have a full trolley check. Talk about shame!!

    Food today:

B - banana, toasted protein bagel thin, poached egg - free, fibre, P

    L - picky plate - pork pie 😁, crabsticks, cherry tomatoes, houmous, apple, blueberries - free, P, S, 2

D - freezer surprise - we had another 2 portions of dinner leftover last night as DS2 went out to eat with friends and DD popped to her boyf's just as I was dishing up. We have at least 8 meals for one in the freezer/fridge now, so will use some up. They are all SW free meals though 😎

    Calcium - milk

SWIPs - flexible - we are attending a local AmDram production tonight and I've bought snacks to take. Will take cucumber and carrot batons with houmous, plus some popcorn for me. There's nuts and crisps for DH, DSis and BIL.

    Afternoon all 😀

    Beanie have you tried them?

Coxy. thief 🤣🤣🤣 seriously how embarrassing though, happened to me before as well, as if you are going to nick them when you have a full weeks shopping scanned, that's exactly what i said when it happened to me, wasn't eggs but was something small.

Well today i have been breast screening so something else to wait for results for 🙄

I just went to get up, dh goes what you doing? I said going to do a handstand 🤣🤣 impossible he goes 😱was only getting someones order ready that is coming to collect 🤣
