That's really tough @Suffolksue . Be kind to yourself but it's really important that you keep your strength up and eating healthily can help. 🤗
Have a great holiday @Jellybaby and hope the cold comes to nothing. It's like ships that pass on here because I think @joedenise gets back later today.
It's bright and sunny here again. For once, we have no rain and sun forecast for the rest of the week!👍🏻
I still have a swede knocking around from veg wars so will make some swede and carrot mash today for the freezer before it goes soft.
I'm trying to up my water intake today to see if that can help shift some of the lbs settled on my stomach. It has to be worth a try.
Today's plan-
B- toast (fibre), milk (calcium), eggs, bacon (P), tomatoes (S)
L- LO casserole and veg (P,S,F)
D- cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), green stuff, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
Swips- 00 -

weighed in this morning with a 0.4kg loss. I’m calling it 1lb. Not all the Easter gain off but I should do it by next week. Hope so anyway as another holiday is looming - this time a walking holiday in Scotland.
You are a giddy fish @bubbs - that’s just the sort of thing that has me bursting out laughing.
It’s just eat, work, sleep, repeat at the moment so I’ll leave it there for now.
Keep on it everyone xx

Morning all, got back home just after 6 last night. It was a very long day as wanted to get back on UK time as quickly as possible! We were up at 7am (5am UK time!) and didn't go to bed until 10pm (midnight Turkey time!). Didn't slee- very well as DH has got a chest infection and I think he's passed it to me as I've started coughing as well now!
Well done @Coxy11 on your loss this week. No losses here of course after a week AI! Weighed this morning and put on about 4.5lb! Only have 2 weeks until the next holiday so no idea how much of that I can lose before that but will give it a good try!
Two machine loads of washing done and out on the line. Not sure whether it's going to dry as it's quite cloudy but at least it's breezy so hopefully it will.
Need to go shopping as haven't even got the basics like eggs, bread etc! Used up the few slices I'd put in the freezer for breakfast this morning.
Today's plan:
B - toast, marmite - Fibre; F; 1.5
L - Jacket potato, tuna mayo, salad - P; S; F; 1
D - butternut squash & chickpea curry, rice, mango chutney - P; S; F; 3Calcium - milk
Fibre - bread
Swips - LF spread 1.5; LTL mayo 1; mango chutney 3Have a good day everyone.

Good to see you back @joedenise but sorry to hear that you're unwell. 🤞🏼you both recover quickly.
When we were working the two hour time difference suited us fine as we could have a bit of a lie-in in Turkey and then easily get back to early rising for work back home. Even now we're getting the equivalent of early nights when we go away. Travelling can be a long day though, we reckon on 12 hours door to door but we're further from both airports than you are.
Hope you get the shopping done, how was the hotel food? Did you enjoy yourselves?🤔
I'm going for a walk this afternoon as not dancing tonight. We have a football match so will have the requisite Crunchie but otherwise a good day foodwise.
It's dry but overcast here although the rest of the week promises to be sunny.🫰🏻
Today's plan-
B- porridge (fibre), milk (calcium), blueberries (S), banana (F)
L- as yesterday, LO casserole (P,F,S)
D- chilli con carne with rice (P,F,S), cottage cheese (P)
Swips- half Crunchie 30 -
Was pleased with the hotel, all the staff were really friendly and the service was the best we've ever had in any hotel.
Food wasn't the best but there was usually a good selection and always plenty of salads although some of those were a bit weird - anyone for liver salad? I ate loads of salad and roasted veg. There were jacket potatoes a couple of times but never any boiled or mashed potatoes. It was usually chips, wedges or sautéed which were like giant crisps!
The best meal of the week was the Sunday roast. I had beef with an enormous yorkie, a couple of small roasties and loads of veg.
We had a good time but a week was long enough; was pleased we hadn't booked a fortnight. Would have been better if DH's hips/back weren't playing up so much so we could have gone for longer walks but even though we only had quite short walks we were still waling 7-8,000 steps a day.
There were a lot of people who return year after year. We won't be doing that but we may well go back there in a few years time.
Shopping has been done and I've menu planned until we go away again. I also bought some pork steaks on Club Card price - £5.50/Kg. There were 8 pork steaks and these have been bagged up and frozen.
